Hi - I’ve searched this in this sub but can’t quite find what I’m looking for. I’ve been tasked with booking a meeting space for a meeting 2-6pm this Tuesday in FiDi. It’s only for three people, and I tried hotels in the area but they were $2000+. My exec wasn’t happy with that. Tried looking into actual hotel suites at the same hotels, but because of the timing we’d have to book two nights which would put us over that amount. I looked at WeWork, but it looks like I can only book 2-5pm at the downtown locations. I don’t have WeWork all access and this is on behalf of someone else, so I’m not sure how that all works anyways…I also tried Convene but their quote was also pretty high. Does anyone have suggestions? Or do you know if WeWork allows meeting spaces to be used beyond the community closing hours?
Update: We changed the meeting time to fit the available meeting room schedules at WeWork, but then the booking system didn't work. I called their customer support and they submitted a ticket for me, but they never got back to me and we needed to confirm a meeting location (since the meeting is tomorrow). I also tried calling the specific WeWork location but they didn't answer multiple calls. I ended up looking into Jay Suites and was able to quickly/easily book a space with them. They are also super easy to communicate with both by phone and by email. We shall see how it goes tomorrow, but so far I've enjoyed working with their staff. Pricing was just over $300 for four hours. You can also add catering options directly in the booking system which is good to know for the future!
My 22-month old is generally very agreeable / easy-going. He has definitely started to test boundaries here and there, but even then he has been pretty easy.
Lately he's been having 3-4 day spans of total chaotic behavior where he is constantly biting or hitting us (or biting himself), chasing our dog (luckily she is a sweetheart and we are always super vigilant / keep them separated when he starts doing this), refusing diaper changes, waking up super early, not eating very well, etc. He seems very tired, but his nap has been consistently 2+ hours each day. He wakes up early and is immediately talking and wants to go go go.
I know that some of this behavior is very normal for his age. However, it's the way that is happens that is weird to me. He will be acting fairly typical for his personality, and then suddenly for like 3 or 4 days it will be all out chaos. Then he goes back to normal and is totally fine and easy-going again for a week or more.
This has been really tough because at school he will have several days in a row where I get complaints from the teachers about his biting. Then they will ask me what I did to get him to stop because suddenly it just goes away. When he is in these chaotic periods there is literally nothing that changes the behavior. We've tried ignoring (when safe to do so), we've tried acknowledging it, we've tried "Teeth Are Not for Biting" (he loves it when he's acting like himself, but when he's in chaos mode he actually starts biting for fun as we're reading...), I've tried things for teething (tylenol, chewy toys, cold teether toys, etc). It's just constant during these periods and I can't keep up with all of the behavior management tactics.
The way that this comes and goes feels like there must be something bothering him (teeth or something else). Is this just teething??? Did this happen for your toddlers? Is it a growth / development thing??? I am at a loss.
Hello all! Are there any family office CoS/EAs here who would willing to chat with me about how your org structures org charts? I’m looking to brainstorm ideas to improve ours (in collaboration with HR) and thought someone here might have good ideas! Thanks in advance :)

Hi all! I'm looking for some advice from second time parents who had a toddler around 1.5/2 when their second was born. I'm due end of September and my first will have just turned 2 in August. We are currently debating two things - potty training and toddler bed transition.
I've heard different things from different sources. Some say that it's better to get these tough changes out of the way before the new baby comes, and others say that since the toddler will likely regress / have a tough time when baby arrives that it's worth waiting until after.
The only important thing to note is that we will likely use toddler's current crib for the new baby once new baby transitions to sleeping in their own room (vs. sleeping in a bassinet in our room), so if new baby is like their brother we have about 4 months after baby arrives until we'll need the crib for them.
In terms of potty training, our toddler seems pretty ready and we have a potty that he's used a couple of times, but we are also not trying to rush anything at the moment so we haven't started a real routine to make any progress.
I'm curious - what did you decide to do for both transitions, and do you feel like it worked well?
Hi - I've been tasked with finding a clock repair shop that can fix a small desk clock that stopped working. It's a nice clock that my boss received as a gift, so he doesn't want to get rid of it. Are there any clock repair shops you would recommend, preferably near Midtown? I've tried calling a couple of watch repair shops but so far it's been difficult to get in touch with anyone that can help.
Hi! Has anyone had luck with a good watch / clock repair shop in NYC? Looking for someone to help repair a Baccarat clock that was gifted to my boss, and so far it's been difficult to get in touch with anyone.
