In this day and age of LLM that can do most of coding in one shot. do we still have any value if we learn C like good programmers did back in the day ?

With the advent of models like Fable and its unstoppable hunger to one shot small projects. Is there an edge in understanding low level languages like C C++ like good programmers did back in the day.

Hey everyone! Been building a NEPSE chatbot and wanted to share where it’s at + get your honest feedback . It can talk in Nepali, has realtime data (almost). Has human in the loop, confidence score,verifier layer.
What it does right now (4 things):
1. Analytical – Real OHLCV data from 2023 to 2026-07. Aru ragbot le sajilai garna sakdaena.
2. Chat/Q&A – A small knowledge base for NEPSE beginners (still growing).
3. Multipleshare portal analysis: can access sharesansar, nepsealpha,
4. Predictions: Some good sauce for promising shares .
Understands Nepali, gives a confidence score, and a verifier double-checks before showing you anything.
There’s also a feedback button for your suggestion in each response.
Heads up: frontend is v1, so please don’t roast the UI too hard 😅 focused on getting the core right first.
What’s next (thinking about, not built yet):
• 🔔 Price alerts — set a target, get notified when a share hits it
• 📰 News feed alongside the data
• 🗣️ “Market halla” — seeing what different groups/communities are saying about a stock
• 🔄 Daily auto-updated data via scraper
• 📊 EPS, quarterly reports, more fundamentals

Hi I am trying to use meta messaging api . I am able to utilize the messenger chat api easily but for WhatsApp and insta it seems we need to verify our business . And meta only accepts few languages as official recognized language .
Unfortunately Nepali is not recognized for their auto registration/verification. I notarized it to English from Nepali but now I find out your registration document must contain a phone number . I don’t see phone number mentioned anywhere in the document.
If you had similar issue how did you solve this issue.

So I had created rag bot integrated with meta messaging api. And did some market research and found there must be a mechanism where when admin replies to customer then the response from the llm is to be blocked in order to prevent double talk (.I.e: llm, admin) .

I tried to get event message_handover , message_postback from meta in order to trigger my stopping mechanism but for some reason despite showing my page is subscribed to the events ,it is not getting event signal of message_postback when admin takes over.

If you had similar issue help me with some suggestion.

So I am a devops engineer by heart and I like to understand how we can deploy system as so they can reliably scale , auto heal and provide the service they intend to provide . Recently I got to work with ml models and I have created my own few of the models from scratch but I am yet to understand how these gpu hardware how to infere a created model as so it will be fast, reliable, and has good throughput rate .
I have been learning from “inference engineering” by base ten . I do understand that we first load the assets or weights in ram and then it is loaded to the gpu thanks to cuda and other parallel computing mechanism we can do parallel compute .
I can check the aggregated summary report and understand the p50,p95,p99 how it differs .

Hi, I am trying to obtain WhatsApp business api and utilize its messaging api. They want you to submit a registration certificate . I have a PAN registration and I have already submitted two different PAN and both time it has rejected the document.

Recently came across mother of all demo app . It promised that it is a large blog app where multiple frontend and backend works intertwined .
But found out it to be maintainability fever dream. No two frontend and backend works properly if backend works properly, frontend is not configured . The last maintained project is of angular and is directly baked to use a hardcoded a backend url.
If you guys have some stable three tier app publicly available doesn’t even need to be dockerized It will be service of mine . I just want a stable app with few user flow which I can later do few of stress and smoke test . Thank you

I am a devops dude from Nepal ani I wanted to sharpen my skills but learning alone doesn’t help much . If you have a study group or some group of friends with which you can share your ideas your ideas and facts get much more sharpen and you could also practice your soft explainstion skills. It doesn’t matter if you are Einstein if you cannot explain to the other person who the equation E=mc^2 came to be .

I have recently got the hang of Kubernetes and I am practicing with simple three tier project creating manifest files . It’s okay for first projects but I am not sure if it will translate for in other words I want to up my game.
What should I explore further what kind of project should I try to Kubernetes ?

Hi I am a devops engineer who is too comfortable in his position and wanted to push out of the comfort zone.I love to make application and then test it in different stress environment and watch it be handle its intended design.
I have heard in some companies when new hires that are to be promoted they are encouraged to make app and then s/he is asked bunch of question about it architectural choices by the seniors I wanted to try that and understand my shortcomings and make my app durable.
Is there any discord server or Reddit where we can post our design and get criticized but with growth mindset . Just sharing knowledge and experience ?
