I've always been a fan of sand box games ever since i was a kid i used to watch people play gmod with their friends on

YouTube like vanos and multiple unknown youtubers

now that i have a pc i bought gmod me and my friends it was cheap when it was on sale for about 3 bucks we played for a while but they got bored of it because of how hard it was for us to install workshop mods they found it complicated and always came with errors and if any of us hosted a server it was always laggy even tho our wifi isn't bad

then they heard about s&box and

how it is easier to host servers and mod installing than gmod

dont get me wrong but i love gmod and everything and i am still enjoying it every day playing surf maps alone and messing around with npcs but when i saw s&box i tried out s&box beta and i saw potential in this game unlike other people who say gmod is better and this is just pure slop

gmod and s&box shouldn't be compared to each other they both have their own unique gameplay and mechanics besides its still a new platform so if your comparing gmod with s&box its like your comparing roblox from 2010 to roblox 2026

my friends said they were gonna buy s&box and i dont have the money right now beside its lowkey expensive and i dont wanna feel left out so i really hope someone gifts me the game
