Went back to watch “Scallop” the parallels to season 5 are exceptional

The episode “Scallop” might be better than “Caramel”

Syd making the Scallop dish showing then that she was the better chef/ leader

Carmie realizing that he needed to step away from being in the kitchen and focus on his mental health. But also showing that being creative is what he really loves about cooking ex. Plating the beef sandwich

This episode also showed Marcus prepping for his final dish by recruiting Luca and talking to Carmie about his parents

The beginning Ebraheim starting up a Beef franchise

Sweeps showing off his skills as a sommelier by recommending an excellent wine to go with the scallops

Richie creating a magical night for regular guests but treating them like VIPs

The pan to to clock showing that they had what it took way before the clock expired
