Is Guidely GOAT Mentor Plan actually worth it for bank exam prep?

I’m preparing for bank exams (mainly SBI Clerk / similar exams) and came across Guidely’s GOAT Mentor Plan.

The marketing looks good, but I want honest reviews from people who have actually used it.

A few questions:

  1. Is the mentorship genuinely personalized, or is it mostly generic WhatsApp/broadcast guidance?

  2. Are the mock tests exam-level and relevant, or unnecessarily tough/confusing?

  3. How good is the banking awareness/current affairs part?

  4. Did it actually improve your scores or consistency?

  5. Is it worth the money compared to Oliveboard / PracticeMock / Adda247?

  6. Any hidden negatives, refund issues, or things they don’t mention before purchase?

Please share only if you’ve personally used it. Honest opinions (good or bad) appreciated.

Panasonic AC Installer Says Outdoor Wire Connection Cover Is Not Needed After Wiring – Is That Correct?

Got a Panasonic split AC installed today. After the technicians left, I found this metal part near the outdoor unit. When I asked the technician, he said this is related to the outdoor unit wire connection safety/support.

According to him, this part is mainly used while connecting the wires in the outdoor unit, and after the wire connection is completed, this cover/support is not required in some setups, so they removed it.

However, some people online are saying this might actually be the terminal block/wire connector cover that should remain installed to protect the wiring area.

Can any AC technicians or experienced users confirm whether this explanation is correct? Is it normal to leave this part out after installation, or should it actually be fixed back onto the outdoor unit?

Photos attached.

Panasonic AC Installation Completed but This Part Was Left Unused – Important or Optional?

Today got a Panasonic split AC installed. After the installation was completed, I noticed that the installers left this metal part on the slab and didn’t fix it anywhere.

I’m not sure whether this is an extra/optional bracket or if they forgot to install an important component. The AC seems to be cooling properly for now.

Can anyone identify what this part is and whether I should ask the installation team to come back and fit it? Or is it usually left unused depending on the installation setup?

Attaching photos for reference.

Need help regarding death certificate registration in Chennai after body was taken to Bihar

A neighbour passed away at home in Mylapore, Chennai. We obtained the doctor’s cause of death certificate (Form 4A/MCCD) from Chennai properly. After that, the body was transported to Bihar for final rites.

Now while applying for the official death certificate through Chennai Corporation, they are asking for burial/cremation receipt or burial number. The issue is the final rites were done traditionally in a village in Bihar and no official cremation receipt was issued there.

We do have:

Doctor’s cause of death certificate from Chennai

Ambulance/freezer transport proof

Aadhaar details

Photos and travel details

Has anyone dealt with a similar interstate case? What alternative proof or affidavit is usually accepted by Chennai Corporation in such situations?

Also which office/person should we approach directly in Chennai to resolve this?

Any guidance would really help. Thank you.

Need suggestions for BA Hindi colleges in Chennai + future scope

Hi everyone,

I’m asking this for someone close to me. She completed 12th with Humanities subjects (Hindi, English, Political Science, Economics, History). Hindi is her mother tongue and she wants to do only BA Hindi.

We’re trying to find good colleges in Chennai that actually offer BA Hindi, but after calling a few colleges like Loyola and some other popular ones, we found out many of them don’t even have BA Hindi anymore.

Her marks are average (just border-pass level), and her family situation is a bit difficult since her father passed away recently. So affordability is also important. She currently stays near Teynampet, so colleges with manageable travel would help too.

Would really appreciate suggestions on:

Which colleges in Chennai genuinely have a decent BA Hindi program?

Are aided courses much better than unaided ones?

Is BA Hindi worth doing nowadays in terms of jobs/future opportunities?

Would it still be possible to prepare for TNPSC/SSC/bank exams alongside BA Hindi?

Any colleges to avoid?

Would appreciate honest guidance from people studying in Chennai colleges or anyone who has done BA Hindi here. Thanks!

I’m confused about how banks decide credit limit increases, especially for existing users with good usage history.

I’ve been using credit cards for around 3–3.5 years now. I always keep utilization mostly below 30–40%, repay on time, and actively use cards across travel, luxury, online shopping, reward multipliers, etc.

Some examples:

ICICI card issued around Oct 2025 → already earned around 8k–9k reward points

IDFC issued around Oct 2025 → already earned around 19k points

Amazon Pay ICICI → very high usage, this month alone around ₹7k cashback, previous months ₹4k and ₹9k

HDFC Tata Neu → lifetime NeuCoins/cashback around ₹7k–8k

Yes bank card → redeemed around 14k coins earlier and around 8k coins recently

I actively use 5X/10X reward offers and platform-specific spends properly

But despite all this, some banks barely increase limits.

Examples:

HDFC card stayed around ₹21k for a long time, then increased only by ₹3k

Yes bank finBooster card increased only from around ₹24k–25k to ₹28k recently

OneCard (BOB-backed) also not seeing meaningful increases

ICICI and IDFC haven’t increased yet either, though they were issued only in Oct 2025 so maybe too early

Meanwhile:

Roar bank card was issued with ₹1.5L limit in Oct 2025

Exactly 6 months later, they doubled it to ₹3L

So I’m trying to understand what banks actually want for usage-based limit enhancement.

Am I doing something wrong?

Should I:

let full bill generate every month before paying?

avoid paying before statement generation?

use higher utilization temporarily?

stop using some cards for a few months?

keep utilization ultra low?

spend heavily in one category?

rotate spends differently?

I thought good repayment history + active usage + reward ecosystem engagement would automatically help with CLIs, but that’s clearly not happening equally across banks.

Would like to hear from people who actually managed to get decent limit increases on low-limit cards. What strategy worked for you?

Planning to buy an appliance for my parents’ home and I’m genuinely confused between standalone air fryers, air fryer ovens, and OTGs. Would really appreciate practical long-term reviews from Indian users.

Current experience: I regularly use a Philips HD-series 4.1L air fryer (not sure of exact model, maybe HD9200 series) at my sister’s house. Me and my mom absolutely love it. We’ve cooked fish, chicken, reheated snacks, frozen foods, etc. Crispiness and convenience are excellent.

My father is still adjusting because he prefers traditional deep-oil fried fish taste, but even he slowly started liking some items from the air fryer.

Now I’m planning to buy one for my parents’ house.

My main usage:

Fish fry

Chicken fry

Reheating

Regular weekly use

Healthier alternative to deep frying

Maybe occasional bread/pizza/garlic bread later

We have enough kitchen space, so size is not a major issue.

Now my confusion:

Should I simply buy a standalone Philips air fryer again? Thinking about:

Philips HD9270 6.2L

Philips NA231 6.2L

Philips NA342 7.2L (looks great but expensive)

Is the jump from 6.2L to 7.1/7.2L actually worth the extra money in real-world usage?

Is Philips still the best overall brand in India for cooking quality and reliability?

Or should I consider:

Ninja

Solara

Agaro

Faber

Instant

Cosori etc?

For people who moved from normal air fryer to air fryer oven or OTG:

Did you regret it?

Does crispiness reduce?

Is cleaning more annoying?

Does it actually replace oven + toaster + griller properly?

My concern is: I don’t want to spend ₹14k–15k unnecessarily if the actual cooking/taste difference vs a good 6.2L Philips is small.

At the same time, I don’t want to regret buying a smaller/basic model later.

Would really appreciate honest long-term experiences, especially from Indian households using these regularly for fish/chicken cooking.

I’ve been researching for weeks and now I’m more confused than before because reviews everywhere are mixed. So I’d really appreciate genuine long-term user opinions.

Current situation:

Mom currently uses an old Meenakshi & Meenakshi gas stove which lasted 10+ years with only burner issues recently.

Kitchen has enough space. One side slab is mostly free.

I care a lot about looks/aesthetics because I’m planning to do a proper modern kitchen setup with chimney and premium-looking stove.

But I also don’t want maintenance headaches after 1-2 years.

____________________________

Gas Stove Questions:

Mom prefers 3 burner because she’s used to it, but honestly some 4-burner models look amazing. Is 4 burner actually practical in daily Indian cooking or does it become annoying/cramped?

Should I go for auto ignition or manual ignition for long-term reliability?

Are premium models actually worth it?

Is paying ₹8k–₹12k for Prestige/Faber/Glen/Elica worth it over Butterfly/Pigeon/Lifelong etc?

Which brands genuinely age well without rusting, knob issues, burner problems, glass issues etc?

I’m more interested in:

premium finish

spacious layout

strong burners

long-term reliability

premium/modular kitchen aesthetics

______________________________

Chimney Questions: I’m even more confused here.

Brands I’m considering:

Faber

Glen

Elica

I understand suction capacity matters a lot.

Since I’ll probably go with a 3 burner stove:

should I buy 60 cm chimney or directly 90 cm?

Is 90 cm overkill for 3 burner or does it improve smoke capture significantly?

Also:

Are BLDC motor chimneys genuinely worth it?

Which brand has best long-term service/support experience?

I’ve noticed Elica models on Amazon are much cheaper than some Glen/Faber models. Is that because of quality difference or just pricing strategy?

________________________________

Air Fryer Questions:

Currently I personally use Philips HD series 4.1L for around 2 years and I’m mostly satisfied with the taste and cooking quality.

Now I want to buy a larger one for parents’ home because my father loves fried foods and I want him to reduce oil usage.

Confused between:

paying premium for Philips 6.2L/large models OR

buying bigger 10L–12L models from other brands.

Questions:

Is Philips really superior in taste/performance?

Or are newer brands giving similar results now?

Any trustworthy long-term brands for larger air fryers?

Main priority: I don’t want to regret this purchase after 1 year because this is a proper gift for my mom’s kitchen and I want it to feel premium and reliable.

Would really appreciate honest suggestions from long-term users instead of sponsored YouTube reviews.

Thanks a lot.

Hi everyone,

I’ve been trying to get an SBI Card for the past 2–3 years, but my applications keep getting rejected. Usually the reason shown is “overleveraged” or sometimes some vague internal policy reason.

What confuses me is:

My CIBIL score is around 765–770

100% repayment history

Never missed a single payment

No defaults or settlements

Recently, two banks even increased my credit limits (one doubled from ₹1.5L to ₹3L)

The only issue is:

I’m self-employed

No proper income proof / ITRs / salary slips

Now recently I noticed the SBI PhonePe card is showing as eligible/pre-approved inside PhonePe, and I’m also interested in the SBI Cashback Card.

But when I enquired at the SBI branch, they told me:

They cannot offer Cashback Card or PhonePe SBI as my first SBI card

They suggested cards like SBI Prime, SimplySave, SimplyClick, etc.

They said I should first get a “basic” SBI card and then later apply for Cashback or PhonePe variants after a few months

So now I’m confused about the best path forward.

My questions:

Should I directly apply for the SBI PhonePe card through PhonePe since it’s showing there?

Should I instead try for SBI Cashback first through Sprint/app/referral?

Is it better to first get an entry-level SBI card like SimplySave/SimplyClick and build a relationship for 3–6 months before applying for Cashback?

Does SBI really care more about income proof/ITRs even if repayment history and score are strong?

Any tricks/strategies that actually work for self-employed applicants without formal income documents?

Would really appreciate advice from people who successfully got SBI cards after repeated rejections or similar situations.

Thanks a lot!
