Transfer case fluid

I've seen a few conflicting things across thenewx forum and this subreddit about transfer case fluid for 2nd gens.

From thenewx:

Transfer Case:
Type: Genuine Nissan Matic D ATF or DEXRON III or MERCON or equivalent
Capacity: 2 1/8 qt or 2.0L

Also, the service manual says: using automatic transmission fluid other than Genuine Nissan Matic-D (or equivalent) will cause deterioration in drivability and transfer case durability.

Some videos I've watched have just used Valvoline Maxlife ATF, same as the transmission, for the transfer case. Though some people on here have said not to use the same fluid as the trans fluid (Matic J or equivalent)

Looking at Maxlife's equivalent compliance list, both Matic J and Matic D are listed... So I'm guessing its fine?

What has everyone here used to replace their transfer case fluid? Will Valvoline Maxlife ATF suffice?

Is Brooklyn Botany a good source?

I have 4 of their EO's, lavender, clove, tangerine, and frankincense. They're pretty much the only brand I have experience with besides one EO I have from Aura Cacia.

Brooklyn Botany's prices for the size seem almost too good to be true - I'm wondering what everyone here thinks of them? I'm happy with the oils I have from them, but like I said they're pretty much the only ones I have so I don't have any comparison.

PECO consistent low voltage after storms

Almost every time there's a storm. our neighborhood has low voltage until PECO sends crews out to fix it, which sometimes takes over a month, even consistently reporting the brownout to them. We have several brands of volt meters in our home that we've used since having dim lights and struggling appliances for the past month since a storm. During the day, they all steadily read between 100-108 volts in separate outlets across the house. This happens pretty much whenever there's a storm. After the storm, we have low voltage until they send crews out to find the problem. Once they send crews out, bam. Back to 120 volts and above.

This most recent occurrence, I've been filing outage reports for dim/flickering lights daily for 2 weeks now. My outlets with our wall ACs plugged in have been getting hot from the increased pull of amperage and higher wattage consumption as a result. My AC that normally is 1000 watts is reading 1500. Fuses keep blowing because of this. I'm tired of PECO jipping us out of electricity. So not only are they giving us lower voltage and straining our appliances and home's electrical systems, but we'll have a higher bill because all of our high-demand appliances are consuming more to make up for the low voltage. I don't know what else to do at this point. We have called in the past and they still don't make it a priority to come and deal with it. Then they come to our home and insist it's a house wiring issue... until they go to the neighbor's house and check their voltage and see they have the same issue. They do this every single time.

I'm wondering if this is an issue specific to my neighborhood or if this is happening across all of PECO's grid.

Edit: correcting my usage of the word "fuse" when referring to circuits tripping in the breaker box. I'm not an electrician so used the wrong term - my apologies.

Curious little fella

Little baby in the greenhouse I work at (not so little actually, probably the biggest jumper I've ever seen!) was so curious and interested in what I was doing. They were just watching me for a few minutes like this, pacing back and forth and then putting their front legs up in the air. I put my hand out and they poked it with their front leg, then after pacing around some more they jumped onto my pants leg, crawled up it, and used it to jump onto the plant I was working on! They were probably planning that the whole time, wondering how to get on the plant and then saw they could use me! I was honored, lol

Buying another X...

This was an incredibly low mileage X for it's age, 50,000 miles on the clock. The dealer seemed shady though. He said there was "no rust at all" underneath when there is, some... Even if it's considered not a lot for the east coast. My code reader said 5hrs running time since codes were cleared. His response to that was "We weren't even open 5 hours ago" when that's not how that works. Seemed to drive fine, AC blows cold. Fluids all looked good. No leaks that I could see without a lift. Heater inlet hose looked intact. I just didn't like the vibes I was getting from the guy. Thoughts? What would you do?
