Aggressive bus stop neighbour

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I was waiting for the bus yesterday, which happens to be in front of a house.

While waiting, a white BMW parked across the street, with the owner getting out, crossing the street and eyeing my husband down. Once he gets close, he purposely skims by my husband while continously staring at him, then walks up to his house.

My husband turned around and said "you can say excuse me" to which the owner raised his voice about how this is "his property" and does not need to say excuse me.

We were not on his walkway, or his grass or anything. Literally standing on the sidewalk.

So now I want to be a petty. I ordered chalk to draw a hopscotch game and rainbows in front of his house, but I also want to make note that he parks his BMW in front of "our" apartment.

I'm open to suggestions that won't criminally implicate me, but cause an annoyance in his life. Like throwing nesquick on his car, or signing him up for Jehovas Witnesses to come visit.

TLDR: don't live next to a bus stop if you hate people.

Scent Sensitivities in workplace

Hey folks,

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I'm a social worker employed in Toronto, and have been working at an agency since last December.

I have noticed an increase of staff wearing strong fragrances, despite a scent-free workplace policy.

I suffer from migraines, and fragrances are a primary trigger point for me and I am unable to work in a closed space that smells like the perfume section of a department store.

Management has not been enforcing this policy, and advised me to go home due to migraines being triggered by fragrances (and reflect the time I left) on payroll - so I am being punished as opposed to the people wearing fragrances.

My understanding of the law is that migraines is a protected disability, and that the agency has to accommodate within reason.

How do I best guide myself through in regard to advocating for myself legally if this doesn't get resolved?

This week's episode couldn't have been more timely. I'm a crisis worker who goes on calls for mental health crises, and I recently had a call where the woman was in love with Grok.

For almost a year, she truly believed she was in an intimate relationship with Elon Musk, but then found out it was Grok - but she still truly believes that Elon Musk is still somewhere in that tiny lil AI Grok heart.

It was quite a sad situation seeing someone so deeply embedded with AI, and no longer having the capacity to create community or relationships with real people, because as she put it "AI makes for a better partner than people do".

Big ouff. I have my work cut out for me if this is what the future holds.
