Completed My First Full Car Wrap !
Just finished wrapping my s2000 in Oracal Night Blue Metallic (970RA-196)
I'm a complete amateur with some past experience wrapping small parts like lips, grills, and trims but I've never actually completed a whole car, until now.
The s2000 being a small car wasn't overly difficult to wrap and most panels were pretty straight forward. The front and rear bumpers were the more difficult areas to wrap. I made a lot of mistakes on the rear bumper and I do plan on rewrapping it in the near future.
In terms of Oracal wrap, I do agree with what many other posters have said about Oracal. It's not the hardest to use but it's also not the easiest. I have some experience with Avery and 3M and I honestly think they got the formula down when it comes to wraps. If I were to ever rewrap my car, I'd likely stick with Avery/3M just for the ease of use. With Oracal you need to post heat all corners, bends, edges, etc. and it also doesn't seem to like being stretched. On the other hand, Oracal has a great colour selection and the vinyl replicates paint very well.
Anyways, those are just my thoughts with Oracal 970RA wrap.
