Just a rant with no substance lol im really frustrated with this shit

Movicol (specific brand of macrogol available in europe) is so amazing at helping me stay regular during flares and its genuinely the one thing I can take for my crohns related constipation that doesnt cause insane cramps and pain but it is absolutely disgusting. Couldnt be worse. Ive been taking that stuff for a decade and ill NEVER get used to it. I already felt like throwing up with the version that tastes like "nothing" (why is it slimy yet also sand like at the same time???) But I made the unfortunate mistake of buying a ton of "lemon" flavored (more like weird chemical stuff) movicol on accident recently (in bulk because its cheaper so now I have sooo much of it :(( ) which is somehow even worse! I didnt think that was even possible! Why does it have to be so disgusting T~T atp I genuinely just always have some spicy snack that I can eat immediately after ready, because while that may not be healthy for my gut it prevents me from literally throwing up from the aftertaste. I hate it so much

Im attending a hackathon next monday, and very last minute they changed the place were staying at to a hostel, that while rated 4 Stars out of 5, has had quite a few reviews about bed bugs in the last few months... Because the hackathon is paying I cant choose the place ill stay at, so what do I best do in those two days to not carry the infection home? Idc about bites, but I really dont want to infect my apartment

Im planning to attend a 48 hour hackathon, and i dont want to out myself as trans there. my chest will 100% out me and idk what to do. aside from the fact that i dont own a binder i couldnt wear it for 48 hours anyways, so what do i do about that? i have tape, but when i change into my sleepwear in the sleeping area people are going to notice that probably because 1. idk how to get flat , 2. obviously i have to take off my shirt and people will see the tape. also its summer here so i cant wear a hoodie, so what kind of clothes can i even wear? Also my voice is pretty high but its a teen hackathon (13-19yr olds) so its not as bad, but the way i talk is still kinda feminine even for a younger guy so idk what to do about that???

So Ive heard most binders with zippers or clamps on the side distribute the pressure unevenly so its even more unhealthy than normal binding. But im disabled and have limited mobility due to joint pain, so id like to have one thats easy to get on, and especially off. I dont want to get stuck if I flare up unexpectedly :'(. So are there any opening binders that dont have this flaw?

obs has worked fine for me before for a long time, but now suddenly audio lags or doesnt get recorded at all for small sections of a recording before working just fine again, and recording, even tho obs itself shows that its still recording, fully cuts off anywhere between minute 6-11. Happens both on hyprland on wayland, and cinnamon on x11. to stop recording i also have to press on stop recording twice, because it otherwise just gets stuck on "stopping recording...". What could be the reason? i didnt change any settings, i just updated obs as usual.

So Ive had crohns for about 14 years at this point, and while i cant say much about how it was during my worst flares, since i was too young at the time to choose my own food, I know that the past 10 years during remission and flares alike Ive eaten basically everything I wanted, (since I wasnt diagnosed with crohns but "mystery illness" at the time and didnt know I had to avoid things) most of it being "bad" food like pigs meat, chocolate, coffee etc, and it never changed anything about the symptoms. Lately Ive tried cutting those foods out (for the past few months) didnt make things better either. The only thing that really noticably makes things way worse is stress. Is that possible? I also have constipation crohns instead of the more typical main symptom, the other symptoms are very typical tho...
