I Need Your Best *BUDGET* Gym Shorts Recommendations

I'm on the hunt for affordable (under $100) gym shorts. I've tried everything from Old Navy to Gym Shark and honestly, I've been disappointed. It reminds me of Cam from Modern Family wearing bike shorts.

I need gym shorts that are:

  1. Squat proof
  2. No weird bunching in the front
  3. Waistband stays put

Bonus points, if the shorts can be transitioned to being worn outside of the gym.

Skyrizi Changed My Life *Update*

After 1 year on Skyrizi, I can say that this drug has changed my life. Scalp psoriasis took over my life about 10 years ago.

I tried EVERY SINGLE THING to avoid medication: Xtract laser, UVB handheld device, Clobetasol shampoo, Clobetasol solution, Zorayve foam, weird oils from Amazon, Vitamin D cream, no gluten/dairy, no carbs...

Now, I don't even think about it. I woke up one day and realized that I don't think about it any more.

I can wear black and not be covered in flakes. I am not self conscious about getting my hair done.

I know we focus on skin but the mental FREEDOM from psoriasis has truly been amazing. I didn't realize how ashamed and self conscious I was — and how I was holding back from relationships and experiences because of this.

How Do You Deal with People Asking About Your Skin?

I got vitiligo on my face a few years ago. Under makeup, it's undetectable. But I was recently bare faced around family I don't see often and THREE family members made comments about my skin: "What's on your face?!"

So, I did what a lot of us do: I gave the honest answer, a joke answer, and a distraction answer.

Afterwards, I went to my bedroom and cried. I hate myself for being sensitive and superficial. I try to be grateful and think about people dealing with more in this world...

How do you all deal with (or don't) when asked about your skin?

Jim Was NOT Manager Material. Convince Me Otherwise

Sure, Jimothy was a fun guy. He kept things light and could bring people together (Office Olympics). But his ability to make tough decisions—group birthdays, raises, dealing with the WSJ article—was horrible because he wanted to be the fun guy.

Aside from being a tall glass of sun tea, having a strong sales record and broing it up with David Wallace, nothing about him made a good manager.
