I punched a girl in face because I knew she couldn’t do anything about. She sent me a picture of her closed swollen eye. I felt pleasure in hurting her.

She tried to have me prosecuted. We had relations all the way up to two court hearings even though we weren’t supposed to be around each other cause of the case. Nobody knew we were in contact with each other of fucking the day before court.

“I’m an American. I’m Black. I grew up loving this sport. I know where this sport came from. I want the whole story told.”

As a Charlotte, North Carolina native it felt good seeing Gibbs get his second cup win this season. Then NASCAR AMERICANA came on…what do they mean by how this country was founded/built and rebellion. i’m a black man who has grew up watching NASCAR from the early years of my life and recently got back into the sport last year. They talked little about moonshine era and outrunning the laws running shine, modified cars, drunk arguments leading to racing, first team owner. With a Georgia/Daytona focus. Why leave North Carolina out? The moonshine cave found beneath grandstands at north wilkesboro sweedway would’ve been great! Junior Johnson ran illicit liquor and was from wikes county. Lee Petty helped the sport lean away from its moonshine roots, that’s iconic. And a North Carolina native. Won 3 grand national championships 1954, 1958, 1959 and the FIRST Daytona 500 in 1959. Apart of NASCAR’s first season, and The King is his son. Come on that’s rich North Carolina racing history. This is Dynasty!NASCAR’s first race took place in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1948 at the old Charlotte speedway near what is now known as the CLT Douglas Airport area. Before Concord offered space in the ‘60s to build what we know as CMS. The abandoned North Carolina speedways is rich., north wilkesboro formally was on that list. Grass root stock car racing started in the south. Has been referred to as a southern sport. Let’s not forget the confederate flags, rebel flags, battle flags I don’t care to know the terminology. Can’t erase or rewrite history! Days of Thunder and South Park’s Poor & Stupid episode clearly in evoked it. It’s only been what six or so years since the ban of these flags at all NASCAR tracks and NASCAR properties. And took a while for flags presences to cease. Why exclude this? That’s impactful. In a sport not well diverse a little diversity goes a long way without saying. Wendell Scott ran illicit liquor, tuned his bootleggers, evaded laws, raced while still running shine. His own mechanic, and his own team owner. A Virginia Native who was a rival on track with The King, but off track they were friends! And a grand help to Scott, especially the spare parts box, that’s iconic. Selling him a racecar hauler, truck, and old equipment. Richard Petty was one of the few who was nice to Scott. I just feel like Americas home of racing should not be excluded! Lots of drivers have moved here to Charlotte to pursue their career in motorsports racing. Like one of my Favorites Brad K. I applied to RFK Racing for a job they viewed the application, not gonna hire me but at least I tried. Chase Briscoe as well, sweeping in a race shop to getting his first opportunity competing in a racecar for a millionaire. The NASCAR Hall of Fame is in Charlotte. They went to Dawsonville because of Everybody’s favorite Chase Elliott is a active driver from there having correlation to the same hometown/birth place of Raymond Parks the first team owner don’t get me wrong that was cool and didn’t know. I just love my state of North Carolina. This is my passion! My earliest NASCAR memories are the No. 5 kellogs car, No. 5 tony the tiger car, smashing and banging up 1:64 diecast, and watching the cars go round falling asleep to the races waking up when it’s over. Occasionally if I’m not watching attentively I will fall asleep unknowing and wake up exactly when driver is doing burnouts, that’s the part I love that feels nostalgic. I was 1 maybe two years old when in ‘03 when winston cup ended. Nextel cup and Sprint cup, nationwide series before xfinity, was the series I grew up on. The MLB, NLF, NBA and most of the sports organizations, franchises , and corporations we know today was not diverse. Was not inclusive. But rebranded. Of course it’s the money people care solely about, not the sports advancement. That’s for the fans to consider. 2020 is too late to rebrand because of what was found in Bubba Wallace’s garage stall! Those confederate flags would still be present had that not been found in Bubba’s stall. We know the union vs the south the south loss. We know. I’m a proud a American. Don’t confuse this i just want all history acknowledged not partial, what people may like, what feels appropriate. America 250 don’t feel like America 250 i’m sorry. Declaring independence but declaring independence for those enslaved? What the fuck? Economy? What? Rebel battle flag was made to not confuse soldiers at first both sides were under the American flag. North Carolina had the biggest Confederate soldier presence 100,000 men something like that and suffered most casualties. That’s history no matter how it makes anyone feel all history should be acknowledged.
