I am playing a 2k point vs Tau tomorrow. Since it's the end of edition, I'm playing my Necrons (They are my 2nd army). I have about 3500 points worth total, and only have stuff from 9th Ed. so this is the list I put together. Any suggestions on what I might add or subtract?

Years ago when I moved out of my Mom's house I left all my 2E stuff, and I had a lot. I got back into RPG's about 8-9 years ago, tried 5E and it wasn't for me, and have run a lot of different games since.

I decided recently to start back up my 2E collection, with an eye to running a Ravenloft campaign I failed at running well as a teen, but also I want to get back what I had plus stuff I missed.

I think Drive Thru RPG is a great resource for some of the stuff, but I feel the box sets should probably be purchased on the Second Hand Market for things like maps, tokens etc.

I've already bought a 2nd hand 2.5 PHB and DMG as well as the older binder version of the Monstrous Compendium.

What I want write now are the Core Boxes for
Ravenloft
Planescapes
Dark Sun

As well as the Requiem - Grim Harvest box and the two other modules in that sequence.

After that I'm not sure, so any advice would be appreciated.

I know the answer is probably "rights issues", but can anyone explain while we are in this huge vinyl resurgence the classic Sodom releases like Obsessed by Cruelty and Persecution Mania remain unavailable?

I bought a grey market release last year of In the Sign of Evil" split with the original EP version of Hellhammer - Apocalyptic Raids, and I'm happy to have it, but they have so much great stuff it kills me how expensive it is on the 2nd hand market.

My players are about to reach level 3 in a purple planet campaign. My plans are to run River of lies next and then also chess men of the purple planet Reading this it seems very funnel-esque and seems set up to theoretically kill the PCS.

Any suggestions for running this? I have five players with five PCS?

UPDATE/EDIT

I have 2 trains of thought right now.

If I run it and the party is TPK'd continue the campaign back in their homeworld, and follow it up with Invasion of the Purple Planet, and then SOMETHING ELSE to close off the campaign since they aren't making it to the plateau and Peril of the Purple Planet.

The other option is just dropping it from my list. Having them continue Hexcrawling across the PP, and then start Peril...

I have about 2000 points already mostly from a pair of gifted. Indomitus boxes. Is this starter box good for White Scars or is it skippable
