First road trip in EV6 (California)

Got my EV6 about 3-4 months ago and decided to go down to LA with it from SF.

Planned everything out through ABRP and plugshare and the trip went easy peasy.

The only thing mind blowing to me is the price range you can get from fast charging. Most expensive I had to use was 71 cents from a Tesla super charger at my hotel. Cheapest was from Ionna at 39 cents.

I think my only complaint is using the ABRP for mapping out the route. It would severely overestimate the amount of charge i would use to get to the next charger.

There was one time where it said I needed to stop at a charger with 10% left and I got to the charger with 40%. I skipped the stop completely and still made it to the next charger with 5% left. I had the OBDII connector hooked up to keep things in real time.

Overall I spent 160 bucks on 900 miles of driving and I really only stopped for about a hr to charge 3 times. Half of that time I was eating dinner so to me it really doesnt add that much more time to the overall time. Plus the breaks really kept me refreshed and kept the kids sane.

Also wished the hotel I stayed at had free charging. I would have been much happier.

10/10 would road trip with it again.

Dreaded Wet Towel/Moldy AC smell

Car: EV6

So I've been getting this damn moldy/wet towel smell coming from my vents and I can't for the life of me get rid of it.

First I checked to make sure the drain wasn't clogged (it wasn't)

I tried the Lysol Snort through the cabin air intake. Worked for 3-4 days and then the smell came back

Next I sprayed a can of Kool-It up the drain (a lot of it came out...) Smell went away for about 3-4 days and then it came back

Next I tied an endoscope to the tubing of the Kool-It and went through the vent. Found the condenser coils and sprayed the entire can in there. Verified it was draining out of the drain.

And now after about 2 weeks, the smell is back.

Im at my wits end with this damn smell.

Most likely another victim of the ICCU

2023 Wind AWD with Tech. Bought used about a month ago.

I got the dreaded check 12v and then electrical component warning lights. I swapped the 12v battery with an AGM and the warning light persisted.

Was able to drive to the dealership where they said diagnostic would take about 2 days (they only got one EV tech....) I asked the service guy about the ICCU problem and hes like yeah we are seeing there a lot.

Lets see where this heads

2023 Kia Carnival Check Engine Light: P2BEC

Got a check engine light that appeared suddenly, disappeared after a week and then came back. Going to bring it into the dealer on Friday to see whats up, but I figure I might as well come here and see

Code: P2BEC, Fuel Control System "A" Too lean Bank 1

Only thing Ive noticed after the check engine light came on is that my mpg dropped from ~19 to the ~14 which is a pretty big dip.

Anyone else have this issue and have any resolutions?

EDIT1: Dealer said it was a leaky vaccuum. They fixed it and the light went away.

EDIT2: Light came back, same CEL. Went up the chain and they think it might be the fuel injectors... 61k miles (OFC its right outside of warranty)
