I'm planning my first trip to Cairo, and I would love to hear your advice on my travel plans:

Sunday: arrival; hotel close to the pyramids
Monday: visit the pyramids and the museum
Tuesday: visit Memphis, Saqqara and Dashur
Wednesday: check out of hotel and go to hotel in the city center; visit Islamic Cairo
Thursday: Visit Coptic Cairo; felucca boat trip
Friday: day trip to Alexandria
Saturday: leave (for Dahab)

Is this a realistic schedule? Am I missing something? Any other tips?

Im currently obsessing over eyeshadow and stocked up my shopping chart at Monolith. Would love to hear your thoughts about the palettes I’ve selected so far. Which one did you like, what’s one you wouldn’t pick, is there a brand you don’t like? Things about the formulation I need to take into account? I would love to hear all your thoughts!

Does anybody know a great place to do BodyPump? I've done it for years at Basic Fit despite it being a horrible gym. I had a two-year break and just went for the first time; apparently, most of the instructors are gone. The only thing that was good at Basic Fit were the instructors, so with them gone, I really would like to find another gym to do BodyPump.

Ik hoop binnenkort weer te kunnen beginnen met hardlopen, na bijna twee jaar pauze; eerst door een blessure, en vervolgens een zwangerschap. Nu heb ik nieuwe schoenen nodig natuurlijk. Voorheen liep ik op Brooks. Ik onderken volledig het belang van goede schoenen, ze aan laten meten in een winkel etc. Alleen omdat ik nu al zo lang niet heb gelopen, vraag ik me af of ik niet beter eerst weer kan beginnen met hardlopen op wat goedkopere schoenen van de Decathlon, voordat ik echt goede schoenen koop. Zodat ik weer een beetje kan voelen hoe alles voelt, en beter weet waar ik rekening mee moet houden. Ik ben jaren geleden ook begonnen op schoenen van Decathlon, en pas toen ik halve marathons ging lopen naar een speciaalzaak gegaan. Aan de andere kant ben ik nu ook jaren ouder, twee zwangerschappen achter de rug en niet de beste knieën, dus meteen met goede schoenen beginnen lijkt me ook wel verstandig.

Ik hoor graag jullie advies!

Last week, I discovered Xteink thanks to another Reddit user who bought one for its Traveler's Notebook card-size journal. I also have the TN card size, and I love the idea of always having a book on hand instead of scrolling on my phone. I've never heard of Xteink, and I currently have a Kobo ereader from 2012, so I'm also not very well aware what has happened in the ereader world in the last 16 years. I see recommendations about multiple programs (I happen to know Calibre, although I haven't used it in a long time, since I can't connect my ereader to my laptop anymore), not being able to upload all books on it, needing to install new software, fonts etc., needing to flash (?) it... Is there a beginner's guide to Xteink ereaders and all the things you need to do to start using it? I just want to see if this is going to be too complicated for me, what kind of books I would be able to put on it, before I purchase it.
