The Great Gatsby

Working my way through Goodreads 100 books to read before you die, and well this one has left me stumped.
I did not enjoy it, and can’t understand why it’s so highly rated. It does have a few nice passages, but over all I found it boring , dull and uninspiring.
Has anyone else had a similar experience with it?

Having difficulty tracking the others down, unfortunately they share the same ISBN as other editions different covers and numerous times I have ordered online only to get a different covered edition

A to Z collection

I wish one day that they would release a more comprehensive guide for the Tolkien legendarium , I know that we have the Tolkien guide by Robert Forster, which in its self is good, but rather brief with its entries. An A to Z guide with more details spread over a few books with illustrations would be awesome to have. Anyone else share this sentiment??
