What if Cleopatra fled to the East? The world ca. 1450 A.D.

The whole timeline would be too much to post here.

Key points:

In 30 BC, Cleopatra flees to India, picks a lucky chance and conquers the city of Baryaza. After almost 200 years as vasalls of the Saka kingdom, the Ptolemaic dynasty switches sides two times in a row under Caesarion III. and manages to conquer large parts of India; afterwards, they march into Persia and towards their old home of Egypt, becoming the main enemy of Rome.

Rome eventually scatters in multiple kingdoms, despite the fact that in northern Italy, a nominal empire under many changing masters remains.

Attila the Hun invades the Ptolemaic Empire, has a conversion experience in Jerusalem and returns to the steppe to proselytize the hordes to Christianity, while his son Ernak plunders Egypt and finally settles in the African savannah. Generations down the line, Christian Huns will conquer China and convert it to their belief; and the Ernakids will march southwards in Africa.

In 628 AD, a Jewish prophet calling for the liberation of Arabia and a new interpretation of the faith, is drowned by the authorities in Jiddah. His followers, called the Mahammeddim, spread throughout the empire, preaching his message and cultically revering water as the sacred essence of life. At the same time, the cult of Shiva-Apollon has become the main religion of the Empire.

In 748 AD, an expedition lands on a vast island to the southeast and begins to settle it.

In Europe, the Langobards from the west and Balts from the north push Slavic tribes further to the east, which eventually results in them forming many small kingdoms and federations on the northern border of the Empire and even in China.

Carthage rises again in 920 AD under Berber leadership, and over the centuries becomes the main rival of the Ptolemies to the west.

In Africa, the Mahammeddim gain influence in Egypt and the Ernakid Empire. Their desire of bringing the sacred water to the desert leads to gigantic engineering projects, which result in a Western Nile and the flooding of the Quattara and Chad basins, altering the whole climate of Western Africa.

At 1450 A.D., the Ptolemaic Empire, despite multiple times of fracturing and reunification, remains the strongest single entity in the world, with the metropolis of Ctesiphon as the global capital, where all cultures and religions can be found. But internally, it weakened drastically. Every vice-kingdom is ruled by one of the many Ptolemaic branches, always striving to replace the current head of the dynasty and empire. The weak King-of-Kings Ptolemaios XXV. is marked by pedigree collapse and degeneration, and with his death, a civil war seems to be inevitable. Aigyptos has become a power of its own, only nominally subordinated to the Empire, and the increased rivalry in Southeast Asia draws much blood and treasure.

Europe remains a backwards continent of infighting petty kingdoms, providing resources and slaves for the empires to the south, while in Africa, technological advancements are rapidly changing the way people live - and maybe, soon, the foreigners to the north and east will be pushed out...

Grammatik, Sammelalbum und lecker Essen!

Alle drei Bilder stellen "Panini" dar. Von links nach rechts:

I like the sun, Alicia, and the pigeons,

a good cigar and the bad ladies,

jumping over walls and opening windows,

and when a woman cries.

I like wine as much as I like flowers,

and rabbits, but not tractors,

and homemade bread and Dolores’s voice,

and the sea wetting my feet.

I am not from here, I am not from there,

I have no age, no future,

and being happy is my identity.

I like to lie on the sand all the time,

chasing Manuela on my old bike,

or spending all my time gazing at the stars,

with María in the wheat field.

I am not from here, I am not from there,

I have no age, no future,

and being happy is my identity.
