Hello-

I’m looking for a studio because the owner of my current apartment building is essentially filling up the property with “affordable housing tenants”- at first glance it seems like great idea, but a lot of these individuals are doing dangerous drugs in their units and partaking in illegal activities.

I’ve lived in this apartment for almost 10 years- it’s rent controlled but things are just not getting better at the property.

Anyone know of a decent studio ($1300 to $1400 total rent with parking) that might be available in the Silver Lake, Echo Park, Westlake, or East Hollywood areas?

I’m a 37 year old athlete, avid weightlifter, runner and current boxer (played football in college).

About 3 years ago, I had an appendectomy to remove my ruptured appendix.

When the doctors in the ER did my MRI to diagnose my appendicitis, they found a hiatal hernia which they included on their MRI report.

As far as I know, I’ve been asymptomatic in regard to this Hiatal hernia. I’m also willing to bet I’ve had it for quite some time without even realizing it.

I’m very active as I lift weights every other day, and on my days off from weights I’m usually doing abs/core work, training my calves, and doing some type of cardiovascular training (sprints, walking, intervals, boxing, something like that).

Like I mentioned, as far as I know I’m asymptomatic but is there anything I should look out for?

Before I explain what’s going on, I’m going to give you some information about me because I think it might help you tell me what you think is going on.

I’m a good looking 6ft2in former D1 college football player who is still in great shape (lean and muscular). I typically get a lot of attention wherever I go.

But here’s what’s going on:

So I’ve been doing instacart while I’m building another couple businesses.

And, I frequently shop orders at one particular store. I’m there almost daily.

And there’s this girl, I think she works next to the grocery store in a small restaurant. But she seems to regularly come into the grocery store on her lunch breaks?

I noticed that she would frequently be in the same isle as me. And she literally kept putting herself in my vicinity.

I didn’t even notice it at first because I was so focused on completing my order.

But one day she literally entered my personal space while we were on the same isle, and all I said was “excuse me” - (lol) again I didn’t even think she might have intentionally done this. I just kept it moving and completed shopping the order.

Anyways, a day or 2 after this, I’m sitting in my car in the parking lot (facing the entrance to the store) and she comes out of the store, I guess walking to her car? But she intentionally was walking straight towards me- I look up and I notice she’s making eye contact smiling. Again, I was so focused on instacart, that I did not even realize it at first. But I looked up again a second time after looking down and she’s still trying to make this strong eye contact with me while smiling. So, I, decide to hold the eye contact with her. She eventually breaks eye contact after about 30 seconds and lowers her head down.

Anyways, for about a week after this, when she would be walking on her way to work in the morning, I would be parked in my car waiting for an order, and she would be checking me out as she walked by my car trying to hold eye contact with me.

Then, about a week later, we’re both in the store at checkout together, but she’s in the lane next to mine. I recognize her and I look over and she looks up and stares deep into my eyes making strong eye contact with somewhat of a smile on her face.

Anyway, this time I broke the eye contact because it was my turn to pay and checkout in my lane.

Anyways, now when I see her, I’m getting the vibe that she’s very nervous, maybe even intimidated? She doesn’t try to make eye contact with me anymore- and it’s like her lips are trembling whenever she sees me?

Even today we walked past each other- I was going to say hi but she didn’t look at me. I mean I was in a hurry leaving the store to make the delivery, but what the heck?

Can someone please tell me what the hell is going on here? Thank you-

Oh and I don’t know if I made it clear, but I think I’m interested- I find her attractive. And she seems to be a little younger than me. I’m in my 30s (I look really good in great shape so I’m used to attention from younger women), and she’s definitely in her 20s.

I thought I’d introduce myself since I feel I’m being let down by a lot of the women in Los Angeles (no offense). But honestly, sometimes I feel like I’m too busy to meet anyone. I also don’t have social media. So I thought I’d give this a try.

I’m not a cop but wanted to ask a legit question. I work out at a local park. I’m not trying to be weird, but I work out with my shirt off and I regularly see the same female police officer driving by.
I think she might be taking her lunch breaks inside her car at the park.

Anyways, as she’s driving by she always smiles and waves and I think she’s flirting with me. I’m interested.

Here’s my question: Is it okay if I approach her and give her my number even though she’s in uniform? I don’t want to make her uncomfortable, but I want to see where this goes. What do you think?

I have a question for all of you that only shop Costco or shop Costco a lot-

I know it can be profitable- but some of these orders have a LOT of heavy items that need to be pushed around on a flat bed, carried upstairs several flights etc.-

I’m in good shape, but after about a week of doing this, I can definitely start to feel it lol-

What’s the secret to not be dealing with aches, pains etc. while doing Costco orders every day?

I’ve been a 5-star diamond shopper since 2019.

Today, I had a delivery where I was unable to locate the customer’s entrance (big apartment building). The train and train boarding area was blocking the main entrance so it was difficult to see. And there was police activity surrounding the building.

On top of all this confusion, the customer was not responding to calls or messages.

Upon arrival in the area, I clicked “arrived” in the app.

I circled around the block a couple of times (about .25 extra miles) looking for the entrance.

Then finally the customer responded. Apparently I was in the correct location and he came out to get the bags.

Does anyone know if I will be receiving the “fraud” warning system generated email due to all this bs?

I hope not. But I made sure to document the situation in chat with the customer and I had a phone support agent document this issue on the order page.

I’m a diamond cart 5 star shopper. I’ve been a diamond cart 5 star shopper since 2019.

So it’s dead at my go-to store. I’m thinking about going to Costco to knock out some orders.

But here’s the thing; if I go to Costco, those orders will cause my speed to become slower. And when my speed becomes slower, I will lose out on the high paying orders at my go-to store once business picks up again.

It’ll take me time to get my speed metric fast again.

Thoughts anyone?
