Stupid thing I did in college this Monday

I'm such an idiot I attended college and didn't mark on attendance sheet as the person next to me didn't pass to me and passed it to the bench behind him

In that sheet we had to mark our attendance for the last 2 days by writing our name, branch and id

I was so stupid man should've told the teacher at least about this that I didn't sign...

Am I the wrong one here? IEM v Techno version

Anyway back in the good old days I forgot to give IEMJEE, now I explained it with the rationale that IEM isn't a good college, isn't under MAKAUT anymore, stopped talking WBJEE and JEE students etc etc all of which were true so I said basically IEM was "A bad college". Then I got TMSL IT in counseling but one distant family relative thinks IEM is the best (didn't even study there!) so he told my family about how IEM is best, I could've easily got it, how I lied about it being bad, how I was lying to destroy my future etc etc today when he came to our home on vacation (MF who told you to get involved) and the problem is my father believed him as obv he's the one who has done college and it technically my senior in these matters... Also I genuinely don't regret not giving IEMJEE and still think what I said was correct.

Imagine all this even after getting a 4 digit wbjee rank😭

Battery performance after update

42% remaining, 9hr 3 min SOT, honestly this phone almost lasts 2 days on full charge.

Battery backup was decent on realme 6 os, but unlike many others, my experience of the latest os after update has been great.

Anyone feel the same way?

Anyone feel like they got way more than expected?

I'm a pcm+cs guy with Bengali too and here's my bo4

English 98

Bengali 97

Maths 98

Computer 100

I expected English marks but I didn't expect 95+ in maths, 98+ in computer and 95+ in Bengali either. I somehow think they have given grace marks to inflate marks, as I left gray code in computer (knew the concept not the name) and did a few other minor mistakes. In maths I did mistake in integration where I got one term correct out of 2 and my method was correct in probability but I didn't bring calculator and in a hurry miscalculated the value. And I'm shit at Bengali.

Kinda feel like I don't deserve it smh

TMSL or HERITAGE

My rank is 9.1k, so I'll probably get TMSL CSE core or HERITAGE Cybersecurity specialisation. Which one would be better?

CS61B

Hi, I'm not a student of this uni, so I'm not sure if it's appropriate for me to post here but I've some questions regarding 61B:

  1. What are the prerequisites?

  2. How much time investment would I need for this course?

  3. Any advice you all have to gain the most from this course?

  4. Are all the materials available publicly?

  5. How difficult is this course?

I appreciate your responses to these questions :)

Hi, I'm a self studying student and I'm confused about which course to choose(CS61B vs CS2112)

I know the Java basics, and have done like 40-50 leetcode questions, mostly mediums based on those basics, but I've never learnt formally and on the side of building projects, I've only built basic things in Java like calculator, quiz games, hangman(you get the idea). I heard that these 2 are the best 'project oriented'data structure courses, so which one should I choose? Additionally, what should be my approach towards the course I choose, and how much time investment I might need?

Thanks in advance.

Grind before first year

Following neetcode 150, I took CS in 12 so I knew the basics of Java to do the beginning questions after learning some extra techniques

Questions-

How to debug the code efficiently? Like when it runs almost fine, passes most test cases, but fails on 1 or 2?

How to figure out optimal approaches from brute forces? Like when you understand the brute force, how to figure out the optimal from that?

How long to think on your own before you watch a yt video about the approach? (Currently I do about 30-40 minutes)

Any and all advices would be appreciated
