I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but as I have gotten into my 40's I have hated looking in the mirror. I hate how my face looks. After having three kids my face put on a little weight and after my mom passed away I cried a lot and now I have crown lines around my mouth. I also have fatty skin under my chin I hate. I never really liked how I looked but now getting older it's getting worse. I wish I had money to get my face fixed. I mean not a bunch of plastic surgery but just have my chin and the corners of my mouth fixed. Also, I am only 143 lbs but after having kids and not exercising I feel fat and I am getting love handles and my muffin top won't go away and I hate myself. Sorry. I just really needed to get that out.

I have nobody else to talk to about this stuff. My mom passed away in 2012 and my dad became an alcoholic and my older brother lives a couple hours away and we never really had much of a relationship. Also I have no friends. I've been with my SO since 2013. I rushed into the relationship after being cheated on by my ex husband. So I went on a dating site or two and talked to people and met a few and then when I met my SO I asked to be his gf after one date and some hooking up. Mind you I was with my ex husband from when I was 18 up into my 20's off and on(that's another long story). Well our relationship was off to a rocky start. He knew I was on dating site when he met me and after a few weeks to a month of being together he was helping me clean my apartment and he found phone numbers from the guys I was talking to before I met him. He thought immediately I was cheating on him. He had a messed up past of his own with relationships. So he had trust issues I had trust issues which carried on into our relationship. I not so much. I trusted him more than he trusted me. Long story short he moves in with me because he didn't have his own place but I did. He also didn't have his own car but I did. I got pregnant two years after we were together and he also got sick and diagnosed with some stuff. We had fights all through out the relationship and he got mean and violent which has caused some hate. After being together for so long I don't feel any sparks or chemistry anymore. We don't kiss. And I feel I deserve more. I feel stuck and like we are just roommates raising children. I want to feel loved, desired, cherished. I want someone to tell me I'm beautiful everyday. To touch me tenderly and make me feel goosebumps. Everyone deserves to feel wanted right?

I was playing with my kitten with a wand toy and she started opening her mouth and panting I assumed it was because she was getting hot. Then I stopped playing so she could settle down and she started running around opening her mouth again. And when she went to lay down she was breathing fast. I haven't had a kitten in awhile so this had me questioning myself. Am I right or is it something else?

Okay so we just got a kitten. Before we had our 6 year old resident cat he was a kitten in the same position. I had a fifteen year old female and brought home a kitten and at first she didn't like him but got used to him. I don't even really remember doing any introducing or trying to get my older cat used to the kitten. Well my old female cat died a year ago of old age and now the male we have is 6 years old and we got a new kitten but not sure how they are going to get along. He hisses at every cat he sees. There was a neighborhood female cat that came around and I started feeding her because her owners did not and she was pregnant. Occasionally I would let her come in because she reminded me of my cat that passed and also because I felt bad for her when it was raining out or hot outside. And sometimes he would hiss at her but mostly stayed away. We live in an apartment so cat sometimes get on our balcony. And my 6 yr old male seems to always want to hiss at them through the sliding door. I am worried about the situation with our new kitten. I don't know how to get them used to each other. My daughter was holding the resident kitty and we let them sniff each other but he started to hiss and tried to swat so we quickly put our resident cat in our daughters room(that is where he has been staying since we brought kitten home) He used to have free roam of the apartment after my other cat passed away. I don't know if he will ever come around. We really love our new kitten and she has adapted to us and our place so quickly and has bonded with us already. Do I need to contact a behavioral specialist? I have had cats growing up but never had to deal with this. Please help.

So my family and I want to adopt this 9 week old female kitten but she has a uri and the place said we can come back 5-10 days because she's on antibiotics. I have been doing research on uri's and it says it takes up to two weeks for them to get better. We are afraid someone else will adopt her but at the same time I am afraid is she is still adoptable that she could have a flair up from stress of being in a new environment. Oh also we have a 6 yr old male cat already and he's vaccinated. I have had cats growing up but not too experienced with cats that have had uri's. Any advice is well appreciated.
