As the question says - whats your most recent new (to you) TTRPG, and what was awesome about it? Let's leave the searing critique aside for a minute - and hopefully find out about some awesome games.
For me, it was Dialect - a one shot where we developed our thieves guild's cant as we tracked their rise and fall. Along the way you make up new words as prompted by the cards. By the end of the game, you've having deep arguments in your own private language - and the story is the thing, too.
How about you?
Want to know why everyone stans Pendragon as an amazing TTRPG? Check out our 2hr AP intro one-shot, where experienced Knight-herder Gaz guides our Knights through a terrifying challenge - will their Traits and Passions be their own worst enemies (yes they will)
There's not enough OSR AP out there - so if you like thrills, spills, and octopi masterminds, check out our <2hr one shot of Invaders of Atlantis using Cairn.
We're on a bit of an OSR kick at Unconventional GMs at the moment (normally we trend trindie), so we took out Mythic Bastionland for a one-shot and tried a different myth to the one everyone seems to go for - check it out, its <2hrs of mythic action!
