My Lip Filler Did Not Hurt

I recently had 1ml for the first time ever. I went to an amazing clinic in my area and I asked to come 45 minutes early for the numbing cream. I did not get a dental block or anything like that. Just regular lidocaine cream. Coming super early made my lips feel completely frozen and I felt next to nothing, maybe just the slightly poke at times but nothing even as bad as a tattoo or flu shot.

Leading up to lip filler, I had put it off for SO long because ever single review and person I talked to said it hurt so bad they almost passed out. Are people just not leaving the numbing cream on long enough? I was so scared but it was a breeze! Pro tip: ask to arrive even earlier than they tell you to so they can numb you while you wait in the waiting room.

Here's my results just for fun:
