Fire Walk With Me

Is the 4k worth the upgrade. I own the whole mystery on bluray which includes Fire Walk With Me, but wondering if I should pick of the 4k criterion release?

Any good special features?

Thanks Orbit!

These are all blind buys with the exception of Sentimental Value

  1. I plan to watch Lenny first, since it’s my nickname lol.

  2. Nothing in this group is stuff I’ve been wanting to own for a long time, since they’re mostly blind buys! Super stoked about the Hood Trilogy though

  3. Even though most are blind buys, I’ve heard great things about all of them, so I simply had to spoil myself.

  4. A criterion I want (but doesn’t exist…yet) is Yentl. No woman in history has been so ingrained and important in American culture who then went behind the camera. An incredible low budget feat that explores what it means to be a woman in religion, and the world as a whole. Plus it could very well be seen as an important moment in queer cinema.

For Movie Theatres

There are way too many options to choose from honestly.

I love love love to go to the movies. I go at least once a week. I love horror movies, but have a hard time with them in the theatres due to the noise associated with jump scares and I end up plugging my ears throughout most scary movies.

A friend of mine gifted me a pair of experience 2's. Would these be good for the movies?

Anyone else with a similar sensory issue at the movies have a pair that work well for this particular issue?

Region Free Player Needed

Hey everyone,

I am in need of a 4k region free player. Any suggestions? Also, any budget friendlier options?

EDIT: Yes, I know most 4k discs are region free. I want a 4k player so I can use it for my region b blurays, but it's still functional for ANY disc I try to play

Recruiter forgot they already passed on me

2 months ago I get a LinkedIn message from a recruitment agency I applied to for an entry level associate job. I passed her quick phone screening and had an interview with one of their partners. Took her 3 weeks to send me the email saying they were moving on with other candidates.

This morning, I woke up to another message from this woman on LinkedIn. It was a repeat of her first initial message asking to schedule a phone screening.

I simply responded with her rejection email that is not even 12 days old. I really wanted to say more, but refrained.

But honestly, what is wrong with these people? I had been in her shoes for YEARS and I have never ever ever come close to doing something even remotely like this.

Sorry, not the best lighting lol but it’s a hard spot to take a pic of.

Can’t wait to see him next week!

I felt like there were so many fantastic moments in season 6 between Scully and Mulder. The yearning was really in full force in my opinion. A lot of fun episodes too.

Season 7 on the other hand has so few of these moments, it was disappointing.

I know I'm getting to the tough part of the x-files, but how do people generally feel about season 8?
