Fake news and FUD

Hello everyone, so as I think we all can agree last Thursday and Friday were quite brutal. I know stocks like MU, SNDK, Kioxia, Hynix etc... are very volatile, but still 25% in 2 days is pretty brutal.

Having that in mind I have been reading a lot of news lately (mainly from Bloomberg) which are straight up FUD. No real basis in their claims and actually straight up false claims. Such as Meta renting their computing (which they won't really be doing and which brought NBIS down a lot) and now false claims about Nvidia which Nvidia has already denied all of them (that news brought down Korean market yesterday).

I'm curious to see if you guys know more about this and generally your thoughts. Do you think institutions are spreading FUD before another leg up?

Kioxia up 12% in 30 minutes

Asian markets and their degenerate overleveraged gamblers seems to have decided to come in to save memory, let's hope it holds. Have a good weekend everyone

What happened?

Before anyone attacks me "it's been going up big time over last few weeks" yes yes I know... but Kioxia just opened 20% down in a second.

What caused this massive semi/memory selloff last night?

GenZ hair going grey much earlier?

Hello, everyone.

So basically I'm 22 year old student and I have noticed that a lot of students on my college have quite a few grey hairs on their head. Some even have a lot. I myself also have a few.

Why do you think that is and did you notice something similar? Is GenZ really under so much more stress than generations before or do you think we maybe eat less healthy food or something like that?

Dr. Ratchathorn direct contact

Hello, I'll keep it short for now and just say that communication with Dr. Ratchathorn's team so far has been a disaster.

I have booked my date 7 months ago and paid deposit in full and so far got rescheduled/canceled 2 times without suggestion for a new date to compensate me. Just thrown away like a sick dog. Their respect for their patients is really quite low now it seems...

I'm asking if anyone hass direct contact/phone number to Dr.Ratchathorn and not to her team. I believe she is good doctor and that the clinic has a lot of patients and money so I really can't fathom how communication can be this poor and with such a low respect for their patients...

Thank you in advance :)

CPI tomorrow

What are your predictions for CPI tomorrow and it's effect on MU?

Do you think it already got leaked like so many times before therefore resulting in today's madness?

Thoughts on SK Hynix

Hi, everyone

Just wanted to hear your thoughts on SK Hynix which is one of the three HBM producers (along with Samsung and Micron) and actually the biggest of all 3. It's also the biggest holding in the DRAM ETF (being roughly 25% of it)

It took a very very nasty hit yesterday, in 2 days it dropped more than 27% on GETTEX.

22% down in 2 days...

I know I know it has had a crazy run... and will probably bounce soon, but goddamn this is a lot of red in such a short time

Edit: Getting extra slaughtered

Beginner looking to buy Olympus OM-D E-M10

Hello, I'm a total beginner and I'm looking to buy my first camera. I found this offer for used one: Link

The text is:

For sale: Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II (silver) and a compatible Panasonic Lumix G 25mm f/1.7 ASPH prime lens. Everything is well-preserved, damage-free, and fully functional.

Bonus / Included for free: A faulty/broken silver Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 EZ pancake zoom lens, complete with an LC-37C automatic lens cap. The optics are fine and there is no physical damage, but it has stopped communicating with the camera body. A repair might be worthwhile (I just couldn't find anyone in Croatia to fix it).

The Panasonic 25mm lens takes beautiful photos and is fully compatible and functional on this Olympus body.

Also included are two aftermarket (non-original) batteries and two chargers. I do not have the original box.

Would this be a good buy? The price is 390EU (around 450USD)

SK Hynix thoughts?

Hello, everyone.

What are your thoughts about SK Hynix? I have done some research about it and there are a lot of people still calling it extremely cheap and especially since it's not available on US stock exchanges. I bought some shares at €850 and I'm interested to hear your thoughts.

What do you think about it compared to Micron?
