hello, incoming freshie from CDM 😝 pretty excited to start school until i started reading more about the trimester schedule from past reddit posts and just hearing from other seniors about how stressful it is. having personal time is very important to me, would you say the schedule is still manageable if you plan your time well? do you have classes every single day? do you have time to work part time after school? does the new campus make much of a difference to your school life in general?

i was previously from poly which was undoubtedly very chill schedule-wise and had a 1 week break literally every 3 weeks + 2-month sem breaks. while it was fun and i could properly take a break i did sometimes feel the breaks were unnecessary and i would’ve rather ended school earlier than go on long breaks but maybe i’ll regret saying this once uni starts lol. would appreciate any thoughts, thanks!

hi guys, just wondering if its possible to request a soft copy of the front and back of my matriculation card before official card collection? as im trying to apply for a student credit card but it requires front and back of your student matriculation card and i dont wanna wait 1month+ if i don't have to hahah, anyone got any experience with this? thanks!!

hello i'm going to be doing comms in SIT and have been eyeing the pink macbook neo for a whileee. looking at the mods i'm doing it doesn't seem to be that production heavy but i'm not too sure, so will the macbook neo be good enough to handle doing comms or what macbooks do you guys recommend? thanks!

tldr i booked airbnb for jb on those dates but cant make it now and the host is not willing to refund me, and changing dates means i’ll have to pay extra 🫠 if anyone can kindly take this booking off my hands so i can have some sort of compensation i would be so so grateful. the place can fit 2-3 pax (one double bed) and is near KSL! hello, i was rejected from ntu on 25 may and appealed on the same day, but haven’t even received any interview offers until now. the course i appealed to was english if that makes any difference, but should i just take it as a rejection or will they be slowly doing more interviews until july?

hello, just wanna know my odds so i can be mentally prepared. i was initially rejected by ntu in the first window for all my courses with no interviews, and i put english as my fifth choice which could be why i was rejected for that too even tho my gpa is above the cut off (3.4X). the only reason i put eng last was bc i was ambitious and put higher cut off courses as my 1st to 4th options, but i guess they took it as me not having enough interest in eng? anyways i appealed for ntu eng again and stated why i specifically chose ntu eng over other schools, my passion for lit and eng, and also attached some of my writing in a gdrive link. i just wanna know if ntu eng is a competitive course and what are my chances if i was technically already rejected once, and if anyone has any similar experiences. thanks!

hi all, in march i had this weird brown spot on my lips that was smooth but felt tight, however it wasn’t necessarily uncomfortable and was just annoying appearance-wise. it stayed for like a month and eventually i peeled it off thinking it was just some dead skin. my lips then got really dry and itchy so i just kept using vaseline (i did put a bit of water before applying), and now my lips feel very smooth but they’re also really dark and tight and my lips also look like they’ve shrunk? almost as if that brown spot spread to my entire lips idk. i’m really confused what this is bc every time i look it up online i don’t get concrete results. i don’t really have the time to see a doctor atm so if anyone has any advice that would be appreciated, thank you!

i woke up to like 5 emails, first one was at 4:33am and said someone was trying to add their email to my acc. then said they were tryna run ads and had to verify a payment method. then right after it said the ads went against the ToS so my account was suspended, and then immediately after it said my acc was permanently disabled and i can’t request another review. this is so annoying bc i was asleep when all this happened and couldn’t take action while the hacker was still in! i don’t use this fb account anymore and haven’t for years but i still have sentimental memories attached to it and its still an all around frustrating situation. any advice? thanks
