Like they're all catchy! 'I Wish it could be Christmas everyday' - absolute banger. 'All I want for Christmas is you' - a sing along classic. I'm as happy listening to Carol of the Bells while out for a summers evening run as I am curled up in front of a fire wearing a Christmas jumper.
I want to normalize listening to Christmas songs all year round, not just December.
So the TLDR... After 8 years of marriage we separated in November, got back together in January but lived apart. It ended in April...
One of the reasons we split was we had different needs when it came to sex... For her it was a nice bonus... We had great sex and if we didn't have it for a few weeks it didn't bother her as we did other stuff that satiated her.
For me it was a big part of how I felt loved and wanted.. if we didn't have sex for a week I'd get anxious and frustrated... No amount of going for coffee, going to the gym together, cuddling on the sofa could replace the need for physical intimacy and that closeness... There was other stuff but that was a big part of it. She has ADHD and I always felt her mind was everywhere else except on me and our marriage. Not that I wanted her to think about me all of the time, she has a great career and friends group..
A month after we've split and she wants to be friends and FWB but my mind isn't there... I can't disassociate us from our marriage... Every time I see her I go into fix-it mode... I want to fix me and our marriage... It's tiring. But it would be nice if we could. I'm seeing a therapist to talk through everything but yeah... Just feeling sad.
As the title, any bars, pubs, spots showing the Indy 500 or anyone having a watch party?
I always watch on my own but fancy company this year. Willing to travel so not fussed where.
