Moka onlys 517th album “ it can do “ was released on urbnet in 2020

For the hiphop purists if you know , you know
It’s smooth boom bap jazz infused raps that only Moka can produce and deliver

He’s definitely one of the great wonders of the hiphop spectrum

The last of the great ice t albums , after this the quality of music drifted a little bit

This album is now known for including the original version of 99 Problems but at the time the album failed to gain the notoriety of his previous releases

Still a solid listen these days

Too bad Jive dropped them after the Album dropped

Maestro has a very fantastic discography. Those first 5 albums hold a very special place in my heart as I literally grew up with his music

Flipnjay always deliver ! Especially when it comes to top tier hiphop from Canada

Maestro fresh Wes is my favorite rapper so I collect his stuff very exclusively

Let your back bone slide is the Canadian national anthem , it can be played anywhere in the country and everyone knows the words

His second best album , still think Forager is light years ahead of a lot of releases this year alone but this self titled joint has some really special tunes on it
Destination and my crew we’re pretty big for him getting placements on some tv shows and movies
The album is worth a listen to those who enjoy the native tongue abstract sound

The 2021 release from Cadence Weapon was also a far gone sound of electronic meets rap which he had done earlier in his career too. Very dope record , some political rhymes here that were actually ahead of its time calling out Justin Trudueau for his blackface schemes and the Ontario government selling themselves out to build commercial buildings over the greenbelt.
