I’ve know her for about 2 years now and we used to spend every night playing games for 6-8 hours. Suddenly in January of this year she started acting strange and not wanting to call or text. By march she has completely changed her tune and was texting me nearly every day until April. when I had finally asked her out she then left for a month came back and said she has a boyfriend since around January. she said she still wants to be friends and do everything we used to do. I think she is just saying that to keep me around for attention because I either get instant text back and a long conversation or I get nothing for 3-4 days then a text saying she was depressed, stressed, or busy. She does not ever text me back about playing together or actually calling. I want my friend back but it looks like it’s cooked.

I 24M playing games and flirting with this girl for a year and a half around the 6 month mark she invited me to her place then ghost me saying she was having anxiety attacks. We stopped talking for a while then a few months later we started talking again.she started flirting with me hard when I asked when I could take her on a date she said what days were good for me. She then ghosted me for a month then suddenly said she has had a boyfriend for months but doesn’t want to lose me and that she thought I would’ve left if she told me sooner. Obviously I wouldn’t have had a problem if she had told me sooner. She says she doesn’t want to lose me over a bad decision to not say anything but I don’t see a way forward especially if she ok with flirting while she has a bf . What should I do.

Turns out they were legit we ended up becoming friends and playing together for a a year and a half. She started flirting and asking when I could visit her(she lives three and a half hours away). When I told her the days she seemed excited the days past she was radio silent. A weeks later she finally replied and said she was stressed and didn’t want me to see her like that so she just didn’t respond. I didn’t interact as much with her after that but still had regular conversations every few days but not like we used to. She had replaced me in the games which was fine because I had moved on to another game that had caught my interest. Which was a big part of why we didn’t talk as much. About 2 months ago she started texting me and being extra flirty again. After asking if she was down for a date she said “what days are good for you”so again I told her the days I was free and she has started acting weird again. No responses and only replying to things that aren’t about meeting or doing anything together at all. How do I move forward?
