Hi Arkansas, I've got a question about specialty license plates

I live across the country but always enjoy seeing an AR license plate while out and about. I'm working on a video game mod that adds license plates for states in the game and right now I'm working on getting Arkansas represented.

I've got the main set of plates, but now I want to add some of your specialty license plates. These are things like US Veteran plates, the game & fish plates, the Razorbacks plate, etc.

Which ones are the ones you see the most? If I had to pick the top five (other than the standard diamond) to put in a game, which ones should they be?

From my understanding, the Game & Fish plates change each year? This year is a "Bunting"? (I don't know birds very well.) And you don't have a "blackout" plate like I've been seeing elsewhere, correct?

2027 tabs are sort of a bright blue-teal?

Any help with this project is appreciated.

Decided to start collecting!

Thought I'd say hello and share off the entirety of my collection (so far). I've always been fascinated with license plates so I finally dive in. Starting local. Found a couple of really nice 1994- and 1999-issue plates.

Very happy the tabs are still on, I'd like to get some replica tabs for my 2014-issue plate. I'm thinking it would be fun to display these with plate frames as well, but I don't think I've ever seen a collection with those.

License plate mod is going well! I've now revamped CA, NV, AZ, NM, OR, WA, UT, ID, WY, MT, and TX! Working on OK now.

I've been working hard to make the license plates as realistic as possible. It's a little thing, but it really makes the world feel a lot more alive and gives AI vehicle a little more character.

Right now I'm just adding the base game and DLC states. Each state features a handful of variations and those are randomly generated proportional to how often they appear in real life. Once everything through Illinois is done, I will release on the Workshop.

After that, the plan is to start adding out-of-state plates. The goal is to have all fifty states represented (you could play plate bingo in game!), with Canadian provinces and Mexican states thrown in.

What should our subreddit icon be for August?

I've been doing a little icon each month for the last few months. So far, they've all been flags: Cascadia for May, Pride for June, US for July. August is in a few days, is there something I should make the icon for August? It doesn't have to be a flag. I was thinking a scone or krusty pup for September.

Let me know your thoughts and I will try to put something together.

Found a city in the USA that sounds like it belongs in WA - Puyallup

Puyallup, Washington (funnily enough Washington is also abbreviated to WA).

The name is Native American.

Just a little coincidence - I also came across another “up” suffix name in the USA in the past but can’t remember what it was called now.

Be on the lookout: I was wrapping up a delivery to Albuquerque and this crazy driver almost ran me off the road!

Didn't even seem to see me, I think he was on his phone and juggling a coffee and briefcase at the same time while driving. What a maniac!!!

My next mod is going to be updating ATS's license plates. Just finished Wyoming. Which state should I do next?

The goal here is as close to perfect as possible. Correct graphics and colors. Correct fonts. Correct sizing and spacing. Ultimately I'll be updating everything, even the states that "haven't changed" since they were released could use a refresher, I think. (Even if it's just updating the tabs to 26/27.)

I just wrapped up Wyoming. What should I do next?

This Volvo is having a bad day

Happened yesterday in Auburn WA. No injuries thankfully. No one has been able to figure out how it happened since it's on a straight road and no wind. Best guess is unbalanced load.

Illinois residents: Did I accurately represent your state's big beautiful billboards?
