Made this in class when I was in high school. I was watching Nostalgia Critic instead of paying attention. Had to learn the important stuff ya know? I hope this doesn't come across as insulting.

I don't really use reddit and I don't really know where to post this but I figure here might be fine. If this isn't considered venting PLEASE direct me to a subreddit I can share this at. People all the time ask me if I am autistic or tell me I act autistic. My closest friends have told me I am autistic. My roommates have called me autistic. My coworkers have called me autistic. My dad says he suspects I might be autistic. People have been calling me or suspecting that I have autism for years. Since middle school. I am 21 now so people have been calling me autistic for like seven years now. Even my fucking mom has mentioned to me recently that she wouldn't be surprised if I am autistic. She always told me that I am definitely not autistic but about two years ago she told me if I got tested for autism and it turned out I had it she wouldn't be surprised. It isn't just my friends and family either. Two therapists I have had and one psychiatrist I had have asked me if I am autistic and one of the therapists asked me if I wanted a referral to get tested. I went to a psych ward last year for personal reasons or whatever and half the fucking nurses there asked me if I was autistic. I do not understand why. I am not autistic. I can hold conversations for a long time, I have a wide variety of interests, I can hold down a job, I go to college. I am a normal guy I think. I don't have a disability. I don't know. If I am not being called autistic I am being called strange/weird. Also I don't have a problem with autistic people or whatever I am just a little upset everyone thinks I am so strange there is no way I can be neurotypical.
