Is it possible to get a tech job bila degree?
Techies in the sub, how hard is it to get jobs with a degree or a diploma? Want to get into tech, so decided to get the skills first. Looking to be a DevOps engineer or a full stack developer, could advice on that too... So my plan is get the skill, get the job, then use the money to get degree. Ama I have to be really lucky for it to play out like that???
Loneliness
Wueeh, this thing is bad. Has made me look forward to weekdays bana. Juu Friday ikifika unajua tu you are going to weka your lonely ass kwa nyumba. Gaming, kuwatch, kulala, coding hapa pale, but still the weekend is long asf. At least weekdays I'll get to meet workmates na schoolmates hii boredom iishe. But life still feels like a prison though...
I just need to understand 😁
I've raised myself in a way to accept people how they are, but Kuna some few nimeshindwa kuelewa...
Watu wa pombe, pombe Huwa inawasaidia aje 😂😂
What actually helped you improve your English speaking skills?
I’ve been trying to improve my English for a while, and I’ve noticed something interesting most apps are really good for vocabulary, grammar, and reading, but speaking still feels like the hardest part. Even when I know the words, I still struggle to speak naturally in real conversations without overthinking or translating in my head. I’ve tried different things like apps, YouTube videos, and chatting online, but progress feels slow when it comes to actual fluency.
My friend's M-PESA account had money moved without her doing anything — and the transactions aren't on her statement
Look at this table. Every balance change should match a transaction row. Two don't.
After a +50 transaction, her balance jumps by 200 instead of 50. After a +150 transaction, her balance only goes up by 50. No transaction explains either difference.
She never initiated these movements. When she called Safaricom, they said the transactions happened — but they're not recorded on her own statement.
So money moved in and out of her account without her knowledge, and her statement has holes in it where those transactions should be.
What would you advise she does from here?
maternity leggings has been a struggle
I honestly didn’t expect finding comfortable maternity leggings to be this difficult. Between sizing differences, waistbands rolling down, and some pairs becoming see through after a few washes, it’s been way more trial and error than I thought it would be.
As my bump has grown, comfort and breathability matter so much more than style now 😅 I just want leggings I can wear for a full day without constantly adjusting them or feeling squeezed.
Day 57 of trying to replicate meals I come across my socials. At this point niache kuitwa muuni, coz muuni can't prepare this 😭
Nipigiwe makofi 😂😂
