Question Re: Updating Templates

To any who may know:

I have a workout template that contains multiple exercises for different muscle groups. By design I rarely do all the exercises in the template, I just pick what I feel like doing that day.

A couple of questions related to the “Update Template” functionality:

  1. What will happen to the exercises I skipped on a given day if I update the template based on that workout? My concern is that it may eliminate them from the template or drop the reps to zero when the reality is I intentionally skipped that exercise so it should remain untouched.

  2. Separate but related, sometimes I’ll reduce the number of sets I do for a given exercise. Eg, only do two of the three sets in the template. What will happen in this scenario? In this case I guess reducing the last set to zero reps would make sense but I wouldn’t want the template to eliminate the last set, reducing the exercise to two sets.

I checked the knowledge base but couldn’t find these details.

Thanks in advance!

A’ddl Running Data Now Captured

Previously I needed to upload screenshots from the Apple Workout app for Bevel to evaluate some of the advanced running data like vertical oscillation, ground contact time, etc.

When I opened Bevel today I was prompted to update Apple health to allow Bevel to read those data points and some others.

I haven’t used the Bevel in a few weeks - can it now read those data points directly? That would be great!

I checked in the update logs, etc. but could find references to anything aside from the mid summer release which didn’t mention those data points. Thanks!

Doing a run from JC and planning my route.

If it is still closed to pedestrians is there an ETA for when it will reopen?

Thanks!

Hi All,

I'm in the tech/SaaS operations space - I build processes to ensure teams align, focus on the right work and get that work out the door.

I wanted to offer help to anyone with questions regarding the operational aspects of starting up a company or product:  project delivery and operational processes, effective cross-team collaboration (incl. making sure tech and business get along :), how to prioritize, etc.

I’m posting here  because I see operational questions come up fairly frequently.

In the companies I’ve worked with I saw that I was brought on at a crisis point.

Everyone is pushing hard yet, somehow, the work isn't getting done, there's a lot of internal conflict or there is even a lack of agreement on what work should get done in the first place.

Those crisis points can be avoided by planning for growth from the outset.

No charge, just advice, feedback and problem solving via Google Meet for anyone interested.

Cheers!
