As an aviation nerd with a special interest in helicopters - one thing that kind of bugs me with this game that I'm hoping they change for the next one - why can everyone spawn their Oppressor Mk2 right beside them, but when I want to get out one of my heli's (other than the sparrow and buzzard) I have to drive 3+ blocks to go get it? I do plan on getting an oppressor somewhat soon, but I wish my Akula and Savage were more convenient because they are so much more fun for me to fly. It can't just be a space thing, because I remember spawning in Annihilators in the older GTA games and then plopping down right in front of you.

I'm sure this has been complained about before, but I'm new to online and a bit disappointed with the Heli spawn system. Especially because I have ADHD and repeatedly spawn a helicopter and then spawn my personal vehicle to drive to the Heli and the Heli goes back into storage haha.

I’ve been learning Schism by Tool and have been having some pain in my right thumb. If anyone can give me any pointers or see any problems with my technique in my right hand I would super appreciate it. I think it may be related to the way I play the ride and the floor tom, but please let me know what you think.

Hey guys, I've been practicing Schism by Tool. I never thought I would be able to actually play this song, but I've been really getting the hang of it. I would really appreciate some constructive criticism and feedback on my playing. The song cuts out at 5:00, but I keep practicing after that.

A couple things I do know - I need to work on the little triplet fills, most of them are sloppy, and I did notice that my drums could be moved back a bit from me because I'm hitting the back middle instead of dead center.

I have been getting some pain in the first joint on my thumb as well if anyone can see some red flags that might be causing that.

I learned mostly on drumeo and then have been self taught for the last year or so. Have been playing for around 3ish years.

Hey guys, I have a real fast question, if you have the battery snapped in, should you be able to turn the lights on without starting the mower? I stopped mowing the other day to pick up some sticks and it would not turn back on, no lights, no anything at all. I tested the internal fuse and it has continuity, all the relays/switches have continuity when activated, but the actual power button switch has weird and inconsistent continuity. I was thinking about bypassing that switch just to see if it would start so I know thats the problem, but then I was thinking if that was the problem, then the lights should still work right? It just wouldn’t start? I appreciate any help. It’s 103 deg outside so I don’t really want to mow, but my lawn is getting out of hand haha.

Hey guys, my brother and I duo sloop and we got sick of getting obliterated and losing our loot and are trying to learn to hold our own. I've watched a lot of youtube guides and that has helped quite a bit. We've sunk a couple reapers that were after us this weekend. I am the helmsman and I'm very torn on weapon choice. All the videos I've watched (all PC players I believe) said that helmsman should be using blunder/eye, but every time someone is able to board, I can never kill them. Especially if they have a sword. This is maybe just a practice thing, but I was going to use blunder/sword, but I really like the idea of being able to snipe when I'm not busy with other things, and I likewise don't want to skip the blunder to prevent boarding. I appreciate any advice, including just general pvp tips as well.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I assumed that desert crops would have a benefit from growing in a yew plot. I assumed this from the tooltip in the previous zones plots saying that their zones crops grow better there.

I did some testing and as far as I can tell the Umbral plants grow and yield exactly the same in the willow plot as they do in the yew. I haven’t tested the xp yet, but desert plants in a yew plot give 128xp per harvest with no buffs. Fel hollow plants in willow plots give 320xp.

So it looks like best xp is still willow plots with Fellhollow plants.

I mostly just wanted to post this in case anyone else was thinking yew plots were required when they are horrible to work with.

Hey guys, I’ve been learning Schism by Tool and I am practicing the ending and it just sounds awful with only 1 floor tom. I tried to set the rim of my floor tom to play another bigger floor tom, but it’s so quiet that you can’t even hear it. I tried cranking the volume and it doesn’t really help much, but I realized that I have to whack it so hard for it to sound normal that I’m not comfortable hitting it that hard without wrecking stuff. Does anyone have any advice on how I can make this work, or is my best option just getting another pad?

P.S. If you’re a begintermediate drummer like me and you haven’t learned Schism yet, please give it a try. It’s given me so many things to work on and I’ve been improving rapidly. Not to mention being able to actually play a tool song is a huge confidence boost.

I have a bit of a weird question, and this may be a little embarrassing and/or depressing. Short story first. I'm sorry this is really long, but I hope at least a few people can stick it out and give me their thoughts. I also know this is something I should talk to a therapist about, but I don't have the money at the moment.

First off, a little background. I'm not diagnosed ADHD. I had testing done for Autism and ADHD and was told I have neither, but was diagnosed with AvPD and OSAD. I pushed back a bit on the ADHD because nothing has ever explained the way my brain works better than that. She looked at my testing again and decided to make a note on my report that I am/have "subclinical ADHD". My understanding was that she couldn't diagnose me with ADHD because I didn't have any evidence that I had it since birth because I don't speak to my parents anymore and my brothers don't remember what I was like a kid and I certainly don't remember either. She told me I could try stimulants to see if that helped, but she said it usually increases your anxiety and my anxiety is pretty bad, so I didn't want to make that worse.

Fast forward a year and my job has gotten much more busy and stressful and I feel like I'm falling apart, can't focus, making tons of mistakes, forgetting what I'm doing ever minute or 2 etc. I talked to my doctor and we decided to try Adderall XR 20mg. I've been on it now for a little over a month and I think it's working, but its really hard to tell. I haven't had any negative side effects at all, but I haven't noticed any big difference. The biggest thing, and I'm not convinced its not just placebo, but I think have been less impulsive with my eating and spending, and more motivated to get off the couch and clean/organize etc.

So I guess I'm curious if this is a normal reaction to Adderall, but the real question I have is about a feeling I got on Saturday. I play drums and I would say I'm begintermidiate. I woke up at 9:00 AM, took my Adderall, had a protein shake, played with my dog for a half our and the decided to play drums. I had been working on learning Schism by Tool, which is a really hard song (for me). After a few minutes I started to lock in and I just got absolutely hooked and had a really hard time making myself stop even though I was really tired and drenched in sweat. When I finally managed to tear myself away I had a feeling that was new to me. I felt kind of euphoric and almost felt like crying. I had a strong urge to run to Facebook and write a sappy post about how anyone can learn to play an instrument and it was the best decision I ever made in my life.

I honestly don't even know how to describe it, but I almost wondered if I was actually "high" (I've never taken any drugs), which then scared me and made me wonder if I don't have actually ADHD and the Adderall just made me high. After thinking about it I'm now wondering if that feeling was just...happiness? I haven't really had the best life, a lot of depression and self loathing and anxiety, so I've never really understood what "happy" is supposed to feel like.
