This floor is about 30 years old. I'm planning on extending it into the living room and refinishing it. I'm trying to identify if it's white or red oak. I'm leaning towards white oak based on the lack of open pores on the end grain and length of rays but I'm new to this so may be totally wrong. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
This time of year I have an abundance of fresh tomatoes from the garden so I decided to try something different. Instead of putting on sauce I just cut up a large juicy Apricot Zebra tomato and a few Chadwick Cherry tomatoes and covered the top. Topped with fresh basil from the garden.

I bought these new for a 3 week trip. I just finished the trip and one is falling apart. I'm going to try to submit a warranty claim because this is ridiculous for a $180 pair of shoes. They were extremely comfortable and I didn't have any knee pain but this just isn't acceptable.
