My friends and I are organizing a house party in the first week of September, before Ganpati, and we're looking to expand our circle, meet some new people from the area, and have a genuinely fun night.
We already have a solid group of guys and girls confirmed, so it definitely won't be awkward or feel like you're walking into a room full of strangers. We're all around 20–25, and the whole point is to have a fun, laid-back, slightly crazy night with good people.
What we're looking at:
GENDER RATIO: Strictly 50/50. We currently need 8 girls and 2 boys, so please keep this in mind while DMing.
LOCATION: Nerul or Belapur, at a friend's place. The exact location will be shared with the group.
DATE: First week of September, before Ganpati. The exact date will be decided through a poll once the group chat is created.
DRINKS: Either BYOB or we'll figure out the arrangements together.
SMOKING: There will be people smoking, so keep that in mind before joining.
MUSIC: Obviously, there'll be music throughout.
GAMES: We'll have some card games and other stuff planned. If you've got something fun you want to introduce, you're more than welcome to bring it along.
The vibe is laid-back, welcoming, and fun. We're keeping the guest list limited so it stays comfortable rather than turning into a massive crowd.
If you're 20–25, from around Navi Mumbai, and think you'd fit the vibe, hit me up. We'll add interested people to a GC beforehand so everyone can get to know each other and figure out the details together.

we're a group of 8–10 people looking for a private place around Navi Mumbai where we can hang out and party for around 6–9 hours
looking for: villa, farmhouse, private room, or similar space
enough space for 8–10 people
music/speakers allowed
we will be drinking and smoking, so alcohol should be permitted
some privacy and not a place where we're expected to sit quietly
preferably around belapur/kharghar/panvel, but we're open to nearby areas

I've followed the whole controversy at a surface level. I know there were protests, court cases, arrests, and allegations of a paper leak, but I never really understood how the leak actually happened.
Was the question paper leaked before the exam? If yes, who leaked it and at what stage? Was it an inside job involving officials, or did it happen at a local exam centre?
I just want to understand the sequence of events and how the leak was carried out. I'd appreciate a factual explanation.

I only know the surface-level politics. Every election, it's the same names : Ganesh Naik, Manda Mhatre, Sanjeev Naik, Sandeep Naik, and I'm curious about the history behind all of it.
I get that Ganesh Naik has been the biggest political figure here for years, but what actually made him so powerful?I'm also confused about Manda Mhatre. I've heard there was a lot of rivalry between her and Ganesh Naik over the years. What started it?
And why are the father-son in different parties?
Also heard that there was a glass house being built in sec 15 Belapur?

I'm planning to buy a car soon and I'm a bit confused with the options.
Budget is around ₹6–9 lakh. It'll mostly be for me and my mum, so I don't need a big family car.
Usage will be almost entirely city driving, around 20–25 km every day (home to college/office and back), with maybe an occasional highway trip.
A few things I'm looking for:
Manual gearbox
Petrol
Reliable and not too expensive to maintain
Good safety
Decent mileage
A few options that i considered: (base models of all)
Nissan gravite/magnite
Kia sonet
Tata Tiago
Swift
Punch
Toyota Glanza
Ps: I'm not interested in buying used cars.

Ps: I'm not karma farming at all, Ican send the payment screenshots if y'all want.
My grandmother got scammed today. She was expecting to receive around 16k from LIC related to my late grandfather's pension. On Sunday afternoon, she got a call from a man who somehow knew her name, my grandfather's name, her bank, and a few other basic details. Because he already knew all that, she trusted him.
He told her that 30k had mistakenly been credited to her account and asked her to check an SMS. She received a message, but we later realized it wasn't from the bank at all, it was just a fake SMS sent by him.
He then said that since she was only supposed to receive 16k, she should send the remaining 14k back. She believed him and transferred the money through GPay.
The worst part is that GPay actually flagged the payment multiple times, but she didn't understand what it meant and went ahead anyway.
We checked her bank account later, and there was never any 30k credit. The whole thing was fake. I tried calling the number, but he never picked up.
Everyone around us is saying there's almost no chance of getting the money back and that the police will probably just register a complaint without much happening after that.
Any advice would be appreciated.
As for the guy, this is his number. Please do what y'all can to do such losers : 8905 156 244
