The Zone is more than a place.
It is alive.
It remembers.
It changes everything that enters it.
After countless hours in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, I wanted to capture what makes this world so unique — the atmosphere, the silence, the danger, and the feeling that something is always watching from the darkness.
This is my cinematic tribute to The Zone.
A place where nothing truly dies.
Not much to tell. I finished the game a few days ago. 200 hours in and did not wanted to rush thru the game too fast. Now I'm gonna start over again waiting for the Update and DLC.
It’s honestly a missed opportunity.
I was really excited about these new 5K2K ultrawides because I thought they’d finally let me run a true 4K 16:9 image on one side (PS5 or PC) and use the remaining space for OBS, Discord, chat, etc. Instead, almost every monitor only offers a fixed 50:50 Picture-by-Picture mode.
A customizable split like 75/25 or even a draggable divider would be a game changer for streamers and content creators. It feels like the hardware is capable of it, but the firmware just isn’t.
Has anyone heard of the Samsung S27HG806EF ?
5120x2880p 27inch IPS 180HZ Dual Mode.
Here in Germany around 700 EUR. I'm on OLED and I can't go back to IPS but damn that thing must be sharp as hell. 218ppi crazy!
I'm tempted to order one just for interest lol
I’m in a bit of a dilemma because of GTA 6.
I’m mainly a PC gamer and I’ve never really been into consoles. I just prefer the freedom that comes with gaming on PC. Since GTA 6 is launching on consoles first, I ordered a PS5 Pro.
The more I look into it, though, the more I’m wondering if I made the right choice. The console is expensive, it doesn’t come with a disc drive, and the PlayStation Store seems pretty overpriced. Even older games are still expensive, and overall I’m not sure I like the PlayStation ecosystem.
Then there’s the Xbox Series X. It’s cheaper, has a disc drive, offers backward compatibility, and honestly it feels like a better fit for someone who’s primarily a PC gamer. The only issue is that I’d probably be buying the console almost exclusively for GTA 6.
Another thing that’s making this decision harder is that we still don’t actually know how big the graphical or performance difference between the PS5 Pro and Xbox Series X will be. The PS5 Pro might end up being noticeably better, but it’s also possible that the differences will be so small that most people won’t even notice them. Right now, it’s all just speculation.
What would you do in my situation? Keep the PS5 Pro or switch to an Xbox Series X?
I think this is one of the best movie scenes in the aspect of videography. I love this shot. Better Call Saul S3E2
