Headset got loose mid ride

Hello, I was riding today when I felt a “pulsing” sensation when applying the front brake, and in a few minutes the front of the bike was making all sorts of noises. I stopped to investigate and I concluded that my headset was loose. I applied the front brake and I could see there was some play in the fork. The issue was that

  1. I couldn’t find someone to pick me up or get transportation because I was in a remote area
  2. The Athenian roads are absolute garbage in terms of bumps, cracks and manholes so there was no smooth way home.
I decided to just ride really carefully, avoiding as much as I could and got home in about 1:30 hour. The play had increased along the way which has made me worried that I might have wrecked the bike. Is this something serious? Also, I am not sure how I can tighten it again so that I can get to a bike shop. In conclusion: Is there a big chance my bike is kaput?
I appreciate your feedback, I am not an experienced mechanic but I do have a torque wrench
    Thanks

Help me choose the right kayak

Hello, I just joined and am looking for advice on my next kayak. Here is the picture: I kayak in the aegean sea, mostly close to shore distances about 5-15km in one go, stopping occasionally to explore the rocks, caves and scenery. The waters are not always calm, waves of over 1 meter are common and manoeuvrability is very important for rock exploration on not so calm waters. I currently have a sit in RTM Makao kayak which I chose for its compact length and depth of the seat position because waves washing over are common in shallower kayaks. Also, it is solid enough to take a few dings from rocks occasionally. I find it stable enough but the tracking is definitely lacking when going on a straight line for hours. Also the speed is not a problem but for my next kayak id like a little more “efficiency”, while still having a kayak that’s easy to hop on and off in water. my other use case is carrying my spearfishing equipment to remote rocky areas. The equipment consists of two spearguns, suit, lead weights, fins and the fish, not exceeding 15kg in total. I am currently between two other RTM models since I know the brand is solid. The RTM Tango evo and the Taiki evo are my two contenders but I would like your thoughts on other models from RTM as well. In general I also want something that’s not too heavy that I can put on my cars roof rack. Thanks for taking the time to help!

Found these on the side of the road

Id say pretty good find. They were in the middle of nowhere, noone was around and the aegean winds were blowing them around the dirt so I decided to keep them… Thoughts?

Anyone noticed the sram axs coaster that comes with rear derailleurs?

I just found it funny how they went the extra mile to include a little sram axs cork coaster with derailleurs… Does it come in every box or just a few?

Twostroke 01

Here is my cross country bike, it usually has spd pedals, not using a dropper by choice. Is the fork low end for this build? Maybe but that’s what I got right now. Bike weighs approximately 9.8kg with spd pedals. Ideas for the future?

Hello, I recently purchased a 2026 Cervelo S5 in black and ive been wanting to customise the logo for a while. Is there any sticker store that currently sells custom made decals? I am only able to find stickers for previous models when looking it up on google. Thanks for your help.
