Really excited to see Jasmine Cephas Jones doing more shows. Wish it was in a different theater though.

I was looking at getting tickets for Hadestown and I know that theater has problems with legroom. I’m a little above 6 feet tall and am used to Broadway theaters being uncomfortable but it was significantly worse than normal the last time I was there. I was looking at my options on aviewfrommyseat and everything I checked mentioned legroom problems. I don’t have a specific budget but prefer to get the cheaper tickets when possible. I saw the show from standing room before but I would prefer to be certain I have tickets.

I saw microphones facing the audience at the New Haven show but I’m not sure if that’s standard or not. I have the recording from the no name tour and would love to have a good recording of this one. I have alerts for every third Thursday but none of the newer shows were added yet.

I’m going to a concert there tomorrow and I’m trying to figure out what train to plan on from grand central. The show isn’t completely sold out but mostly is. It most likely ends at 11 and I need to be on the 7 by 11:30 to not wait an extra hour at grand central.

Last year the encores gala production made the initial announcement late June then the main announcement late July. The closest thing to news for in the heights has been LMM saying they were working on it in the Octet interview weeks ago.

Prices dropped for the My Chemical Romance show next week and I was looking to upgrade my tickets from the 500 level to further down. What are the best sections in the 100 level?

Before Covid I used to get the Jianbing with sausage from either New York Food Court or Golden Mall. But I’m not sure the name of the places I got it or if they’re still around. I am going to be in flushing again soon and was hoping to get it again.

There was an interesting podcast series about it last year but I haven’t heard anything about it since.

One of the parts I’m wondering about is a guest speller getting a word that’s supposed to eliminate them right. I forgot the word but it was spelt in a way I would never imagine trying. They were then immediately brought back for a second word and eliminated. I’ve seen other people mentioning this happening and I was wondering if them getting it right is what’s expected (maybe they’re given the answer) or did they just get lucky? The actors look surprised when he got it right but they could have just been acting surprised.

What have the North America shows have had as merch? I’m mainly wondering about non clothing items.

It seems like there have been posters for every show so far. How much do they cost and have they been available after the show? I don’t like having to hold the poster during the show.

It seems like an announcement should be coming soon. Last year Batboy had its initial announcement of Taylor Trensch on 6/24 before making a bigger announcement on 7/30. The vanity fair article from last week about Octet also said that casting was being finalized.

Any guesses/hopes for what the cast will look like? My biggest one is hoping for Mandy Gonzalez as Camila Rosario but I’m not sure how realistic that is.

Did anyone get student tickets for either of the nyc shows? How early did you get there what were the lines like then and what time did you get the tickets? I am looking to get student tickets to the New Haven show next weekend and I’m trying to get an idea of how early I would need to be there.

I saw it was often a recommendation on here for people in the area but haven't stopped there before. I’ll be near it later this week and was wondering if there was anything worth trying before it closes.

It is looking like it will be on the hot side again next week. I was looking for somewhere to stay cool during some extra time between shows. (The shows are Proof and Spelling Bee)

My normal go to is the drama book shop but I am already going there earlier in the day. I was going to do los tacos for dinner so a restaurant isn’t really an option and I’m not able to do a bar.

It seems like I have just over two hours between shows for stagedoor, dinner and getting to New World Stages.
