This club was paying their mayor off for years to keep their illegal operations running. Such as prostitution, running without the proper liquor licenses, and probably a whole lot more! The amount of kids toys I found in here was baffling.

This property was rebranded a few times. It originally operated as a Holiday Inn. On September 12th 1980, a couple was tragically murdered in room 260. in 2004, it was rebranded once again and turned into the waterpark resort/hotel you see now. It officially closed its doors in 2022 due to many health and safety violations. Some include black mold, poorly chlorinated pools, few to no lifeguards on duty at times, and many more. Employees complained of bounced paychecks, and residents of the hotel were left with nowhere to go after the power was shut off. Seems the owner fled to Florida and started a new business..

This place is magical. In the winter it’s dreary, but in the summer it’s like a fairy garden!

This mall is in a severe state of decay, and has been for many years now. There are mushrooms growing from the cracks in the wall, and a spider frozen in time. (1975-2018)

I wandered up a lone road and found a completely abandoned apartment complex! If anybody knows what happened here, I’d love to know. I also found a small decaying strip mall down the road with creepy mannequins scattered around the parking lot.
Abandoned due to constant flooding from being located near the river. Why didn’t they take their photos when they relocated? :(

This Casino Boat was shut down in 2007 & replaced with a land based facility after remaining in operation since 1992. It was 1 of multiple vessels, unfortunately I believe the others to be long gone.
