this is my 2001 marzocchi bomber fork and when i compress it, it makes this slushy sound and also it feels dead and not responsive. should i service it or is it un serviceable

this is a brake splitter thingy, which enables you to run two rear calipers from just one lever.

ive seen it on a surron but i need to know if it actually makes more stopping power or is it just for looks,

or atleast has some pros
