5 Gallon pots big enough for Nardello and Marconi?

5 Gallon pots big enough for Nardello and Marconi?

I have a bunch of 5-gal pots (5 dry gallons, so 4ish wet gallons, smaller than a 5gal bucket)- are these okay to use for nardellos and marconis to save space? Or should I pick up some 16 inch pots to give them more room to grow?

Transplant shock?

These were looking perfect when I put them in the ground this morning, now they are a droopy mess. Fully hardened and living outside for the past week, but it was 85F for a few hours today.

The soil is last year's raised bed mix with 3 inches of compost added on top (half regular compost and half compost w/aged cow manure). In each hole I added 3 tbsp Tomato Tone, 1/2tbsp epsom salts, 1 tsp eggshell, and an aspirin. I mixed a handful of Tomato Tone in with the top few inches of soil above each plant as well, then watered them in. Did I over-fertilize? Or is this just standard transplant shock?

Please tell me they will spring back! I still have 12 more starts, but these were all my best and brightest. I'd love to know if there is anything I can do to help them. Thanks!

Help, I grew too many starts! I have an 8x4 bed and am deciding between 8 or 10 plants (10 would be 18-inch spacing and 8 would be 2ft, with 20 inches between rows).

I have 7 indeterminate varieties growing- sungold, sweet 100, sweetie cherries, cherokee purple, black krim, pink brandywine, and golden jubilee- about 3 of each (obviously too many haha).

I live in a very dry climate so not a lot of moisture/disease pressure. I have plans for an overhead t-post/conduit trellis, but could do Florida weave instead. I'm okay with moderate pruning but don't want to make a bad call and be outrageously overcrowded.

What would you do? Which ones would you plant out and how many? Can I fit 10 without regretting it?

Working on figuring out my spacing- this layout is 8'x4' and gives 18 inches between tomatoes, with basil and marigolds lining the edges of the bed. I also have nasturtiums, should I pepper a few in? I'll have a 7 foot trellis above the tomatoes and don't mind a moderate amount of pruning. Does this look reasonable? I don't want to space too close but this is all the room I have. How many tomatoes do you typically plant in an 8x4?

I'm curious if Colorado makes closer tomato spacing a bit less risky since we tend not to have moist air or lots of dew sticking around throughout the day. Would love some feedback, I'm open to ideas here!

8 years back, logging into to my rarely used iCloud from my Macbook automatically deleted my calendar and notes, so I've been afraid to use it since then. I have two iPhones and a MacBook that are not logged into iCloud, with different data on each.

I just got a new MacBook and am hoping to finally get iCloud working properly and all of my files accessible from all devices. Is there a way to have iCloud take everything from all 3 devices without overwriting or deleting anything? Or should I back everything up onto a drive, load it all onto one device, and log into iCloud from there? Or will logging in revert me to blank calendar and notes like last time? I'm really late to the party and feeling dumb, sorry if this is a stupid question!

Spent all my free time on the family iMac harvesting poetry from raves.com (shoutout to my heroes Vibechild and Aphrodite), printing it on our dot matrix printer, and hand copying it into my journal like a teen oracle. I drew candy beads onto the cats, elevating them to raver kitty status. Yes, that’s a pair of jeans hanging from my cassette player as a photoshoot backdrop. Yes, my boyfriend’s shirt says MDMA. No one intervened.
