I’m going through peri menopause and have a GP appointment next week to discuss HRT. I have read studies that suggest that peri menopause starts early in women with ADHD, I believe it started a few years ago for me and has been one of the reasons alongside ADHD that I have been spiralling. If you are in the same situation please can you share your experience on how peri symptoms alongside ADHD affected you and if you have started HRT how it has helped?

The lease is up for our motability car and my goodness all the advance payments have gone very expensive. We don’t need any adaptions, can I apply for this grant? I don’t want an all singing and dancing car but I have 0 to put towards it and I need to upgrade to an small/medium SUV (currently have a hatchback) to suit our family needs.

Do we have many ASD/ADHD parents here? I can’t find a UK sub, Autism parenting sub is shocking and heartbreaking.

So my 11 year old girl has been getting into hair, make up, skin care, clothes etc. Most of this personal care stuff she has picked up from her friends in class as I am probably the opposite. As much as I love this for her it’s causing a lot of meltdowns when she can’t decide what to wear, hair isn’t perfect etc and it’s usually before school which can then cause us to be late which then causes another meltdown for being late.

I’m at a loss and I’m really tired and feel like I’m on the brink of having my own crisis because I find it really difficult to deal with and overwhelming. How do I navigate this?
