EDIT: Im going to The Hague Campus

Hello, how is it going? I will be starting a bachelor September (17F) and I have been looking for a room/studio through different websites and facebook groups with no luck so far.

When I thought I found something, I got "scammed" (got a studio with holland2stay and after managing the booking, they cancelled on me 2 weeks later. They haven't told me the reason nor refund me my money for the booking)

Can anyone recommend me a website, an agency, a real estate agent, facebook group or anything on which I can look for a place to stay? I am quite worried about falling for scams or not finding housing this summer...

Hola! Unos amigos me han dicho que como no puedes pedir ningún tipo de ayudas estudiando un grado/máster en el extranjero hay un "truco" para cobrar el paro. Alguien sabe algo de eso? Creo que es ilegal, no?

I’m looking for some honest opinions about The Y (Holland2Stay) in The Hague.

How is the overall experience (management, maintenance, noise, safety...)? Would you recommend it?

Also, I’m in a bit of a tricky situation. I’ve managed to secure a place there but I’m currently under 18 and the application system only allows me to proceed by stating I’m over 18. I’ve already contacted them to clarify but I’m still waiting to hear back. Has anyone dealt with something similar or know how strict they are about this?

I have about 24 hours left to complete the booking and do the payment, so any advice or experiences would really help.

Ik ben op zoek naar bedrijven die studentenhuisvesting aanbieden in Den Haag en ook minderjarigen accepteren. In september ben ik 17, maar ik word pas in december 18, dus ik zou nog minderjarig zijn op het moment dat ik mijn huurcontract moet tekenen.

Ik ben me ervan bewust dat ik door mijn leeftijd eigenlijk geen opties heb bij particuliere verhuurders, dus ik richt me vooral op grotere studentenhuisvestingsbedrijven of aanbieders.

Tot nu toe heb ik alleen Xior en The Social Hub gevonden, maar beide hebben helaas niets beschikbaar dat vanaf deze zomer start...

Weet iemand misschien nog andere opties of bedrijven die minderjarige studenten accepteren (of waarbij je het contract al vóór je 18e kunt tekenen)?

Alle tips of ervaringen als minderjarige huurder zouden echt heel erg welkom zijn :)
