L1 exam paused in between - cancelled later on

Had my CFA L1 exam today (15th May) Morning session. 1.5 hours were already passed in AM session but it was paused abruptly due to a fire incident at Ahmedabad, India.

What was even disappointing that their servers crashed due to the electric outage and short circuit. From 10 am to 4 pm we had to wait in another room. With no air conditioning (initially no fan as well) in 104F/ 40 Celcius tempreture.

Every half an hour they'd ask us to wait for 15 more minutes. We all were so panicked and fed up - let us go or let us write the exam.

The staff was very cordial but diplomatic. Didn't say a word other than CFA instite will take a decision. Freaking let us use our mobile phones or go home. Nooo, we were held hostages.

At 4pm, after 6 freaking hours of waiting, they said we won't be able to conduct the exams. No idea when we can sit next. I hope they provide us with some flexibility.

Hundreds of hours, tens of weeks and so many PTOs from office - this is the condition. Pathetic.

Any Review for Pro4 Living - Coliving PG in Marathahalli?

Hi all,

I am planning to shift to Banglore from June 15th. I have short-listed Pro4 living for initial few months. Any reviews for the same?

Paying 25K for private room with balcony with food and all. All amenities like Gym, Game room etc is there.

I just want a decent, safe and hassle-free stay.

Hi all,

I'm looking for a single sharing co-live room or maybe 1 rk types on purple line.

I'm joining BlackRock, so anything near to that is also fine. Or anything commutable via metro.

Budget is around 20K. I don't need food or anything else.

Hi folks,

I've been selected as an AA. The HR has asked me to complete some formalities like uploading documents etc on the portal and mentioning my expected compensation structure.

I asked about the salary part and he said someone will reach out to you to discuss it.

Now, I already have a year's worth of experience as an apprentice. I got a stipend of 21k in my hometown (S&P Global). I saw some people mentioning in this subreddit that one gets around 23k as salary.

Is there any negotiations possible at all? My very first call - the recruiter said they've a budget of 3.5 LPA + 10% variable. I need atleast 35-40K in-hand to survive.

Do they negotiate and offer that much? Is it also worth joining? Seems like a very back-end work. My hometown's local companies would offer more but I am not very keen to join any.

Hey guys,

What would be an estimated salary at BlackRock banglore for their data analyst role (Preqin). They want someone within a year of experience so assuming junior roles. I've almost a year worth experience as an apprentice. Currently in the final stages.

Also, are there fixed pay bands or depends teamwise?
