wtf is up with my oil pressure (2005 Chevy Trail blazer 4.2L 215000 miles)

This has been a week, at first when ever I turned my oil pressure dropped to 0 then once the turn was done it went back up to 40 when I go into 2.5-3.5+ it goes over 40 to around 60. Now it does it when ever I idle, slow down or even when I’m going a consistent speed ever min or so it’ll drop and go back up. What should I check first? Thank you for your time!

Got my first full time welding job

I applied to this job online it was for GMAW/GTAW aluminum I applied with 1 year past experience with GMAW carbon steel on thin walled pipe making lead in pipes for an irrigation company and they sent me an email I met minimum requirements did an over the phone interview. I said I have never done GMAW on aluminum and barely got any time on GTAW and I did a weld test on a GTAW T-joint, corner joint and another t-joint on GMAW, they said for a first time doing the GMAW aluminum that it was pretty good and all I had to do was watch my arc length a bit (got to close, like I was welding steel) and had good penetration.

Then did a test on thick steel plate half inch maybe did a triple pass on a T-joint and he said it looked good and asked if I just got out of school for welding said no just picking it up as best I can, then he asked me to do an overhead with the tee, I bombed that lol. He said he never gives that test out. Then had me skip the next test and said he saw what he needed.

I got the job making $3.50 more than my last job and it’ll be $4 more in 3 months. (Sorry I didn’t take photos thought it would be a bad look for the interview).

Put yourself out there and trust the process, I drove 2 hours to do that interview and got it. And I applied to 50+ places and they were out of 3 who responded.

My progress so far first practice weld test

I have been working at a pivot irrigation store doing most of the welding on building lead in pipes and elbows (MiG). I’ve take a Ranch and farm welding program twice at a community college it was once a week for 2.5 months (stick, MiG).

Today I did a practice welding program test at a welding shop (the owner is super nice) it was a 3g 7018 V groove.

This is just over a years worth of progress, I rarely get to stick weld unless I have to make a pipe in the fields, and ik some picks don’t show the welds very well it’s more of the whole project.

Picture info:
1,2- 7018 1/8” 96 amps 3g, 3- 7018 in the field(kinda ruff),4 was a project photo, 5- tig Alu (just started learning, any weld by the name Joe and no names is mine, 6,7- I wanna say that was a flat pad of 6013, 8,9- 6013 flat T’s, 10,11- 7018 T’s, 12,13- other projects, 14- 6010 plat, 15- some nasty MiG down, 16, 17- lap flat MiG, 18- triple pass 7018 T’s, 19,20- 6013 Pad and T from a year ago

This is in reverse order of my progression. Ik this is long thank you all for your time!
