Windows 10(pc)very laggy

There was a problem with my Bluetooth headphones so I unplugged the usb stick for the headphones and plugged it back in and suddenly the entire system froze and was not responding at all so I force restarted it and now around 15 seconds after boot up the entire system becomes very laggy. File explorer itself takes around 4-5 seconds to open unlike before where it used to instantly open. I thought it might be a problem related to the headphones USB or application so I removed the USB and installed the headphones application but it didn't work. I opened task manager and there's not really any weird things happening to any of the components however the ssd drive on which windows is installed sometimes spiked upto 80-90ish percent but only for around 2-3 seconds and goes back to normal but the lag doesnt change at all Please advice

Few missed calls do not appear in the call logs on the phone app. However I do receive an SMS that I've got a missed call from that number. However for the missed calls which DO appear in call logs, I do not receive any SMS. No pending software update. All apps up to date. Have checked phone app settings and nothing seems wrong. I do have truecaller but I've checked the settings and nothing seems to be wrong. I have disabled the regular messages app and have been using Google messages but I don't think that would cause this issue. Kindly help me resolve this issue
