Is my hair straight or slightly wavy?

Is my hair straight or slightly wavy?

This is my hair wet. I can’t tell if it’s straight or wavy and if I’m using the right products.

Seeking advice for long, flat, thin and volumeless dry hair

Hello, I am unsure what to do anymore at this point. I used to have healthy hair, at least it felt healthier than it is right now.

My hair is thin (I don't think it is fine?), always flat, it has zero volume, it has frizzy sides and it is dry. I dyed my hair four times in my life, it was never bleach, just black or dark red hair dye at home. I do not get haircuts often, my last cut was October 2024. It does grow quickly I would say? but I am so frustrated because I want it thicker and healthier and I am not sure what to do.

What I have been doing/trying since 2022:

Hair oiling once a week (rosemary mixed with jojoba oil for a few hours all over my scalp)

Oiling my ends daily with argan oil before combing

Combing it twice a day with a wooden wide comb

I tried a bonnet but it made my hair flat and frizzed and curled up my hairline weirdly

Braiding my hair daily, always to bed

Scrunchies

Different hair products, I use a clarifying shampoo once a week, double shampoo when I wash every time, conditioner on ends, cold water no hot water

Current products: OGX hair products (Apple Cider Vinegar Clarifying Shampoo, Biotin + Protein Shampoo, Coconut Oil Conditioner or Biotin + Protein Conditioner) or Monday Haircare (Clarifying shampoo, Moistruizing shampoo)

No heat on my hair

Patting it dry with a shirt then air drying it

Ordered a silk pillow case now, cause I sleep on my squishmallow daily

I do have a lot of stress. Recently I feel like my hair has been falling out more (mostly long stands, only a few short ones). I wash every 3-5 days. I comb before my wash, oil once a week. I never comb my hair wet. I comb from bottom to top. On average I lose 20-50 hair per combing, on wash days its more I feel like, but never more than like 175. Whenever I braid my hair, it starts to loosen up at the sides a lot and single strands come out or the hair is simply frizzy at the top and around the sides. I do not do any hairstyles, too insecure. Hair gets greasy quick too, mostly at the end of the day already. After a wash, the sides always start to separate so does the top of my hair, I have a lot of baby hair? But such sparse sides. When I run my hand through it or try a ponytail, it is super thin there are many gaps and regarding the separating sides: it looks like I have gaps between my strands on the sides from a side profile and it makes me feel really ugly. I am really losing my confidence with this hair and I am not sure how to work with it anymore.

Help would be appreciated. The pics show my hair over the time since 2022 till today.
