Convert extensions to router table

Anyone successfully turned their table extensions(the ones with the "webbing") into a router table? Upgraded my fence to a Delta T3 and otd be nice to use it as a router fence as well, these table extensions are kind weird though.

Why does it seem like theres so many jerks out there?

Im not trying to be a downer here but I just got written up at work for something I absolutely didnt do, my boss just insisted I did, then decided to have an "investigation" over it. I tried to get some guidance from HR and she basically just berated me for 15 minutes.

Got me thinking: why do so many people suck? Is this a uniquely American thing that like every other person just WANTS to be a jerk? Is it related to our terrible mental health in this country?

Like people that are just such a jerk that you feel like youre not even talking to a real human. And how is it that they always seem to end up in these positions of authority? How do people that are so hard to get along with end up convincing other to let them lead? Do jerks attract jerks and they just all pow-wow together in little jerk circles?

I just cant even imagine getting up in the morning and its instinctual that I give someone a hard time

How do I do watermelon wine?

Tried a batch of watermelon wine, got the biggest watermelons on the vine, helped myself to some, the whole shebang. Tasted like fucking shit and I pitched it right away. Tasted like rind with an aftertaste of rotten fruit. Had some wines and ciders that were watermelon later on and wonder how they made it actually taste good. Whats the secret with watermelon?

[WI] Boss wrote me up for "sleeping at my desk". What can I expect going to HR?

So for some context: I'm a forester for a local government and i've been doing desk work for the last 2 days because its been raining like crazy. Anyway, today I sort of leaned/bent over the back of my chair with my hands under the back of my head to stretch and give my neck and back a break from being hunched over and give my eyes some relief from the screen. I wasnt like feet up on my desk lounging, just bending back. My boss walked in and thought I was sleeping despite me leaning forward as he walked in and looking him in the eyes. So now he wrote me up for it, I intend to go to HR about it because I was absolutely NOT sleeping. I have never had to deal with HR before and it worries me a bit because im a young adult who has been told HR is the devil my whole life. What can I expect from trying to sort this out? Just dont want to go in totally blind...

Large stump removal

I just had a huge silver maple removed in my backyard, got about a 4'-4.5' diameter stump left that has to go. Already spent quite a bit on having the tree removed. What are my best options for removing it myself? Dont really want to rent a stump grinder, have a chainsaw so I could try and cut it into smaller pieces. Pretty green too so I dont think burning it out will work for a bit. Just looking for advice to do this solo/without heavy equipment

Heat treating oven/kiln building

Long story short, looking into building my own electric heat treating oven(likely to double as a kiln because my girlfriend likes pottery). Watched a bunch of videos of people building them, the actual construction part is no problem but I want to make sure I am sizing certain things properly and I can achieve the temperatures I want, seems like theres some specific calculations that need to go into this for that stuff especially when it comes to sizing kanthal wire and how much power it draws. Anyone built their own and have good videos/guides I can use for that? Im american and have 120v and 240v so ideally its specific to using those voltages but i'll take any advice really.

I could definitely just find a build video and follow it but I really want to understand the greater concept so I can build what I want how I want it.

Maybe not the best place to ask this but googling got me several semi related threads in this sub.

Co-op/offline/PvE shooters to play with my brother?

So me and my brother have recently gotten more into just chilling and gaming together(ive always been a big gamer, not so much him). Anyway we've both been totally loving Road to Vostok but unfortunately cant play that together. Escape From Tarkov would be cool but we're both just NOT fans of playing with other people on games like that, I know there's offline mods/can set up your own server but I just dont really want to do that right now. I have Ready or Not which fits the vibe for sure but I think we'd get bored of that pretty quick honestly. So basically we're into realistic shooters with good gunplay that are PvE and ideally can play co-op.

Other games we play that we like: Hell Let Loose, Enlisted(kinda meh), War Thunder, the Red Orchestra/Rising Storm games, modded STALKER, the OG Battlefronts.

We would totally also be into some kind of co-op game where you are a crew member in a vehicle, think playing an armor squad in Hell Let Loose.

So basically the PvE co-op realistic looter shooter like Road to Vostok is the white whale we're looking but im open to any suggestions that hit on the vibes the games I listed above have. Other fun co-op experiences but definitely welcome but for the most like to keep it to shooters

Been having a blast playing with my brother recently so really would love to find some more games to keep the good times rolling!

Both on PC btw

Struggling finding an AC problem

Im working on my girlfriends 2008 Camry, last year the AC started stopped blowing cold so I took it to my mechanic to diagnose it. He told me the condensor looked like it was in rough shape but ultimately I had him just recharge the system and it held vaccum just fine. AC blew nice and cold through the rest of the summer. Didnt use the AC through winter and now its not blowing cold again this summer. I put some UV tracer dye in but I cant see any leaks... its not making any noise so im at a bit of a loss on where to go with it from here. Should I just have it recharged again and look for leaks again when the weather starts to cool down???

Attaching a bolster to a knife with a handle and blade of the same width?

I apologize if this is kind of a ramble but i'm searching for some input on this idea: I've had this idea for a while to make a knife kind of contrived in style from the Kar98 bayonet. Other details of that aside, how would one go about attaching a bolster/crossguard/hand stop to a design where the handle and blade are the same/pretty much the same width? I had one of these bayonets some years ago but gave it to my brother so I cant inspect it anymore. Obviously you could slot it and slide it over the blade end but actually securing it in place in a way that it could take some abuse seems difficult. Welding seems like the obvious answer but I cant weld so im trying to avoid that I guess lol

Any advice or suggestions appreciated, sorry if this is a silly question, just trying to toss some ideas around.

Was expecting better loot in apartments

Just did my first apartments run, honestly I did get halfway decent stuff but thats because I found had a helicopter crash site in front of the first apartment building. I got two good condition KA12's and an empty plate LPVC off soldiers but the rest of my good stuff was from the heli, the apartment I went through on my way out had nearly nothing in it. Did I just not explore enough? I didnt stay there super long because I was nervous

How can I keep up on new plants?

Now that I have my own space to garden I've been buying just every thing that looks cool to me and trying it out. I like to look through the few plant catalogs I get from growers each year but was wondering: is there any way to keep up with new hybrids/varieties in the industry as a whole or do I have to look through every grower individually each year to see what if anything is new?
