Furnace next to the septic hole?

Everyone has been so helpful in my other post about the return vent for the hvac. I always had one other concern about the fact that the furnace is squeezed into a closet where the septic hole is (which had over flown several times).

I've attached photos of it flooded and after the flood. The grey thing in the corner/sides of the photos are the furnace. I have always felt like this wasn't right health wise. Is this an issue or normal? (Once again, I never lived in a house with septic inside and not covered or in a basement).

This is right next to my furance. Concern?

This hole for our septic has over flown several times (picture 3 and 4 is an active overflow. Picture 1 or 2 is after.)

I just don't feel like this is sanitary. Also, the grey thing is our furnace. I feel like these two things should not be next to each other. How bad is this?

Help me understand as someone who has a chronically sick baby.

The attached photos are after I vacuumed it out (which in my opinion it still looks awful). I only noticed it because the vent was near pouring water from trapped condensation from all the dust.

This is my first time living in a house with one of these. I guess it is called an HVAC return vent. It's in the upstairs hall of our rented townhome.

I thought there was suppose to be a filter but then google says there shouldn't be one, but the amount of filth is so concerning, and my baby who has been having congestion issue for 6 months now has been sleeping maybe 8 feet from this thing.

I guess my question is (as this is my first experience with this) how does this look? Is it concerning? Should there be a filter? What do I do?

I also have another concern. The open septic hole (that has flooded several times now) is in a closet inside with the furnace and filter. Budded right up against each other, which raises another concern about health. Is that safe?

Can someome help explain this?

My baby is currently 9 months old. He has had congestion and mucus issues since 3 months old, that have not stopped. He is been on Zyrtec for over a month now and it has done nothing.

The issues is his nose is constantly running and he is constantly coughing, gagging and choking on mucus. To the point of throwing up at times.

What I don't understand is when on antobiotics it all clears up and then comes right back after.

He's been on a round of 3 different antibiotics twice now.

I don't understand. It's obviously not a viral cold (for 6 months now...?) if it gets better with antibiotics. But how would it keep comimg back if it is bacterial?

Every doctor wants to keep brushing it off on him being in daycare and "his lungs sound clear". Okay, and???

It is hard to see him get better. For him to be a happy and functioning baby for just a little bit, then it all go away.

Please help me help my baby!

I feel at the end of my rope and I don't know what else to do.

For nearly 6 months now my now 9 month old (3 months when it all started) has not had a single day where he hasn't been sick. It started with constant runny noses which turned into ear infections which have now turned into coughing and gagging, to the point of throwing up at least once a day.

I have told this to his primary, his ENT, and several different urgent care doctors. NONE of them comment on it! You know what they always say? "Is he in daycare?"

No, I will not be gaslit. This isn't my first baby in daycare. It's NOT normal to be sick with NO reprieve. It is NOT "back to back colds".

I have to listen to him every night cough, choke, gag and throw up. I suck out his nose 4 times a day. I have pulled over so many times on the side of the road after picking him up from daycare because he starts choking on his own mucus and throws up all over himself. I cried to his primary and got her to perscribe him Zyrtec. It helped about 25% to "dry" him up. He has been on every round of antibiotic 3x's. He has an appointment for tubes in his ears, but I've heard it does nothing for mucus. He has an allergist referal in but I'm just grasping as straws with that. He has been on Similac Alimentum for 8 months.

I have changed his bottles completely to a different brand because I thought maybe they were making him sick, because it progessed to him drinking 2-3oz and then wanting nothing to do with it. It has helped a little bit.

I don't know what is wrong with him.... and doctor's can't tell me. I am his only advocate but I feel like I need one now...

Please, help me. Please.

Does this look like mold?

I am trying to pin point my symtpoms and I have been drinking from this. It is a plastic thermas top. I don't have hard water.

Is this mold?

It is only on the top, not the bottom, and cleaning it won't remove it.

I have no idea how this happened. I clean it every day.

Does my baby not like me?

I feel like my 8 month old doesn't like me. When I pick him up from daycare he does a little smile, but it fades super quick. It's rare he makes eye contact or looks at me, unless I call his name. My husband can hold him and then I take him and he starts squirming and screaming. My husband can tickle him and he laughs and squirms, but if I do the same tickle he just lays there.

I have this fear that he's going to grow up to dislike me and it hurts. He's the exact opposite of my first, who is so sweet and loving and happy.

Vacation Time for ASM

Question, if you quit with a 2 weeks notice do you get your vacation time cashed out to you?

PSA Don't become a ASM

Don't become an ASM.

Evening managers, grocery managers and department heads will all be making more money than you.

I started as a grocery manager and worked up to evening manager and then ASM. I was denied a raise from grocery to evening. All in all, the jump from grocery to asm, I make $100 dollars more a week at my hourly rate. But honestly, with OT, as a GM and EM, I was making more. So actually, I lost $200-$300 a week. I tried to negotiate my asm pay and was told no.

You end up working 50 hrs a week. Most store managers are shit and leave as early as possible once you arrive.

You don't get to cash out any Holiday or vacation. Once salaried they don't want you making any extra money. I had started applying to second jobs.

Didn't get a bit of this years bonus. Not even a $100 bucks thrown at me. Even though I was in the position for 5 months.

Put in a two week notice. Don't bother doing that. Wanted to take a week of vacation in that time (hadn't taken one in the 3 years of being there). SM whined and threw a baby fit. Now I am working straight on my last week there because they are taking their 4th vacation this year even though SM had no vacation in the system until now...

Fuck this company.
