Sales jobs??
What is everyone’s experience with sales jobs? Whether it’s insurance, door to door, roofing etc. All I see in job searches are sales jobs but they just seem like such a gamble. Are they worth it? Or are they scams?
Phase 3 is giving me anxiety
So I just started phase 3. Just got everything to start mining crude oil and oil refinery’s and also just got my jet pack. My area is a spaghetti monster. I have my main base which has a center of storage containers that I have conveyors going from all over the map to my main base. I have a pretty decent coal mine up north that transports everything to my main base. But everything is ground level. I feel like I need to delete everything and start building actual factories and also start building in the air as my ground level stuff is getting quite messy. Am I over reacting? Or should I just delete it and clean everything up and have a more organized process.
Also, later in the game do you guys just start designating factories for one specific item? Is there factories you do that produce multiple (maybe like plates, rods and screws all in one factory?) just need some advice because it’s getting awfully cluttered and I still have 3 full phases to get though.
Really need a change of pace
Looking for a new job. I feel so stuck where I’m at. I’m a hard worker, in management, in my position for almost 3 years (14 years total with company) but $100k/yr just can’t support a family the way it use to. I have no degree which is killing me but I just need a job with good benefits and a steady (bigger) paycheck. If anyone has any suggestions for jobs that are kind of a diamond in the rough?
I want to write games
Does anybody have any idea how to get into the video game industry for writing? I have so many ideas and no where to put them. I just have no idea how to get my foot in the door.
Seafood roadshow follow up
How did the seafood roadshows go on the west coast? Was it worth it?
So I saw a post earlier talking about why so many autistics love video games. In my experience it seems exceptionally true, iv been playing truthfully since I was 5, got my first ps1 when I was 9 and have found it as a safe place for me to go when the world gets so overwhelming. My question is this. Are there any autistics out there who don’t like video games or even hate them? I’m just curious because it seems very common for us to fall in love with these games.
Whenever I think about what got me into horror games I always think of silent hill and RE1 but if I really think about it, this is the game that started it all for me. Anyone remember this gem?
