Just wanted to remind everyone that Mavuika is the *only* Natlan DPS who cannot maintain full uptime on Obsidian Codex buff and can miss a Melt Crit because of that.

Mualani, Kinich, Chasca and Varesa all maintain the 40% CR buff for the whole on field rotation.

Whoever approved this must have had a galaxy brain 🧠

99% of Mavuika’s kit is straight up fire 🔥 (no pun intended), but that 0.5s window right after using Citlali is ass and the bane of my existence.

The Pyro attack from Ring of Searing Radiance can kill the whole rotation, as it sure loves to hit enemies a millisecond before I hop on bike.

Happy to share that I’ve become a C6R1 Mavuika haver today 🔥. Lots of saving and skipped characters, but boy is the feeling good.

I also somehow managed to secure a clean 100.0% CR build (no food buffs; raw stats with Obsidian active).

Not sure how to vertically invest further, so I’ll first see what Snezhnaya has to offer. In the meantime, I’ll be enjoying my Godvuika in the new map next patch 🏍️

Technically speaking, we fought a being with the power of all 4 Shades at the same time (Trilune Dottore).

This must be the strongest opponent we’ve fought in terms of power-scaling, barring maybe the All-Devouring Narwhal.

It’s getting increasingly difficult to get invested in a story that the writers are happy to retcon.

Why should anyone put any time and effort into lore if it can be retroactively changed willy-nilly?

I love the grandiosity that trumpets 🎺 signal in his motif. It’s as if they’re saying, “Look at me in awe,” which fits Dottore’s extreme arrogance perfectly.

Pantalone said in Act 10 that Dottore has a degree of self-preservation. It’s also quite evident that Dottore despises the fate of Heresy he’s been imposed upon by this loathsome world and its ruler.

Corrupting/burning Irminsul could fatally ruin the Ley Lines, meaning that in the eventuality of his death, his soul would have nowhere to go and would therefore be permanently lost.

By letting Nicole establish the connection to the Frostmoon, he made it possible for the moon to enter Teyvat’s atmosphere. This would ensure the safety of his soul’s existence in the case of Ley Lines’ destruction.

I’d also like to mention that he yoinked Escher’s identity from the very same Temple of Space that Diotima is in, so he must’ve been aware of the Lunar Palace and its ability to preserve souls.

The system of fate confuses me, so I made a bit of deep dive.

Barbeloth told us in Durin’s Story Quest that that “all living beings” were given a fate ordained by “the heavens” long ago. Being a native to Teyvat and not a Descender, Dottore has a fate like everyone else, except his is unusual in that it’s “Heresy.” In other words, his purpose is to challenge the heavens.

Why would the Heavenly Principles design a heretic?

Any closed world system (like Teyvat) eventually reaches stagnation and dissolution unless it adapts. If Teyvat is truly a form of simulated world or experiment like Amphoreus, then it needs to be stress-tested to identify potential weaknesses in the system, so that the administrator (the heavens) can ensure the resilience and longevity of the system.

I believe that Dottore might be one of those .exe files (a variable) whose function is to test limits.

Why burn Irminsul, which is important to Teyvat?

I don’t think that the Heavenly Principles necessarily intended for Dottore to burn the world tree. Although the fate of “Heresy” was technically given by the Heavenly Principles, it doesn’t mean that each and every event caused by Dottore is predetermined or desired. I think that because the Heavenly Principles are temporarily dormant and can’t correct the system, Dottore has been able to go beyond just stress-testing and has caused actual long-term damage to the system in Phanes’ absence.
